None of the three are the GOAT. I can't buy the notion that the three GOATs just happen to play in the same era; there has to have been a change in the dynamic of the game which allows the elite to stay better much longer. It might be steroids.

Most tennis fans prefer watching hard court tennis, this is one of the things going against Nadal in terms of being in the all time great discussion.

LOL hell no.
Federer
237 weeks in a row ranked number one. That record will never be broken.
Personally I grew up in the agassi , sampras, Becker, lendl era.

Nadal has much tougher wins than Federer and a much tougher time than Fed younger years
Fed was never a killer like Nadal , Joker will pass Fed also so he will finish 3rd

This thread is too early. Wait til all 3 retire then come back. Fed and Rafa could retire next year and Djoker could peel off 6 or 7 more gs. The #s right now mean nothing they could change dramatically. Gs aren't the only factor either. Time at #1. Head to head vs. top 10s etc.

I grew up watching Connors, Borg and McEnroe. Nothing will ever outdo that era in my mind. Those guys hated each other, which made it so fun to watch.
We have to have some really old farts on board that grew up during the Laver / Emerson era.

agree with LB here
Fed seems like smoothest of the 3... plays free and easy and has adapted in his older years to stay at elite level (like MJ)
Nadal seems the most aggressive and yes, 13 of his are from a single venue
Joker has the best defense and that has turned matches around in his career and he had to learn how to win by losing
