#6Attended his last three games at Fenway Park in '68, he actually sat out the middle game. I got my only foul ball ever, during the series (still have it) off the bat of Reggie Smith prior to homering. Always a fan of "The Mick", despite growing up in Red Sox territory. Injuries hampered his career but still a HOF'er. His one regret he said in an interview, was not attaining a .300 lifetime BA. I believe he ended up at .297, still not too shabby, especially for the cuts he was famous for.Comment -
