I don't like being below that SMA 100 and having the short term gain tanking like that.

This is a real test here. Buy here, but if it fails we could end up in Fade mode.

I like these cubs here, hitting them hard, offically moving full assets back in to the UNIT of the purple dot.

We got our bounce, with yet another test, but the SMA situation is looking a bit bleak.

We remain rangebound. We are back to the full unit now (perhaps only for this Cubs play) but, like I said, if we break support we might go from passing on the Fund plays to actually Fading the prices...

The situation is a concern with the SMAs but given the current enviornment we remain fully funded and see if we can climb in this range.

This isn't great, but it's showing some solid support, even with the Head Shoulders mountain becoming more distant, but still looming.

Here's the latest summary, the most notable aspect, other than yet another successful support test, is that we have the opportunity to make the SMA 10 support.

If you recall, I was looking for that just before we fell through the SMA 10 last time.

The SMA 20 and 50 are belwo the SMA 100, but that's not the end of the world, yet.

We remain rangebound and the first purple dot represents removal of assets from the Fund, the purple circle is where I added back 50% and the next purple dot represents moving all assets back in, we are now full funded.

Just before the units fell through that thin red line, the SMA 10, I was hoping for the healthy sign of bouncing of the SMA 10, instead of falling through.

Last night's results configuration was what I thought it might be, setting us up for another test at the SMA 10 and even though the SMAs in general are falling, a win on the next play would be very healthy. We are full funded, back to the original unit of the purple dot with the purple circle indiacation the first, (50%) move back into the Fund. In retrospect, that was bad timing.

I drew those dark black lines long ago, and look how well they are still serving us...

We are armed and ready Gold, the further we get from that head and shoulders pattern the more likely we break out to the upside, in my opinion.

No plays yet, but the board is lit up like a christmas tree. We remain disciplined and I will post any broader Fund plays as well, but remember it's the backbone we are tracking in the charts.

As always I suggest using my handicapping as an aid, compare it to your work, as just another piece of information. Maybe it helps tip the balance in an undecided game of yours.

We started the hoping to bounce of the little red line, something I was looking for last time we were above it.



And here's what happened after today...



Range bound indeed....

One thing I can say, even if the next two plays in order lose, after the result of the second play, we will be in a BUY signal. That is to say the SMA 10 will cross over the SMA 20.

These are lagging indicators, but bullish nonetheless. Like I said, the further we get from that looming head and shouders pattern, the more likely we breakout to the upside.

Notice at the last low support test, the second purple dot where I bought back in. Notice that there is a little Inverted Head and Shoulders pattern before the spike upward.

As of now we are not removing assets from the Fund in a short term effort to trade the range. Even if there is a 2 unit or so pullback, our outlook turns more and more positive. That is to say, until it isn't.

Full steam ahead, the markets are paying out.

It looks pretty.

Colorado Rockies is the MLB Contrarian Fund Backbone play.
Zona D'backs is in the broader Contrarian Fund.

Atlanta +2 is in the NBA Contrarian Fund and as reported when the NBA playoffs began, the NBA Contrarian markets were depressed a bit and my office anticipated a playoff bump in the Fund.

Here's what we've seen so far, with the first play recorded as +4, when it could have been +4.5 for a win instead of a push...

We closed over the SMA 100 and remain quite rangebound.

We are rangebound and yes, that means we see a "choppy" chart. It's ok, we take it as it comes. We don't control the market, we just analyze and respond to trade it.

We are testing both the SMA and support line with the next play.

It's ok to fall through the SMA 10 as we have many support SMA's coming up to bounce off of but a successful test off these lines with the next play would be a strong sign for us. We remain fully Funded and while rangebound and near the top of that range, the outlook is positive. We are getting further and further from the Head and Shoulders pattern and developing support.

Would be nice to see a pair of winners next...

The Angels are the play here above +130 or better yet +135 or better.

Thing is, they are rotation number 975 and it's possible rotation number 960 with Arizona becomes a trigger and actually becomes the testing play.

It hasn't triggered yet, and no guarantee that it will.
