Yeah it's been planned for awhile now.

I expect a Tannehill repeat - mediocrity and injuries.

    Hopefully he'll surprise us.

still, the foremost draft expert in the world who is as accurate as any human on the planet is mel kiper and he has TUA as his #3 player in the draft.

only burrow and chase young ahead of TUA.

      that is impressive.
Mel Kiper doesn't have to build a lineup especially for a lefty QB. What GM wants to be stick w an over paid RIGHT tackle if Tua sucks?

What O coordinator wants to run plays he draws up via a mirror because he QB is a lefty and now reads defenses right to left?

Mel Kiper looks only at stars and physical nature but the fact is a left handed QB flop is a double dagger for a franchise...and Tua ain't healthy to begin with.

it worked well for Bama's OC Sarkisian though, while TUA was healthy for tons of games the last 2+ seasons.

Tua is a lefty QB but he is right handed. His dad made him into a lefty QB. He has a really quick release and has pretty good accuracy. Whoever drafts him will be getting an exceptional young man. There was no question of his NOT leaving Bama after his jr year until his hip injury. He won't be ready by the combines but he has been working on his rehab and is doing well.

He has a lot of intangibles that are going to make teams love him. He has a great attitude and loves to learn. Coaches love him because he is willing to listen to them. He's a great leader. He isn't as much a running QB as some think. He's happy to be a pocket passer. And yeah, if his O line gives him a little time, he can carve up a defense.

and he plays a mean ukulele.

just like rafael nadal, who was born a righty but his uncle toni turned him into a lefty thinking it would give him an advantage. it did. a big one. but then again he is in a solo sport not a team one.

minny is right there are very few successful lefty qb's in NFL history.

should the Panthers draft him offer Brady a contract or resign Cam?
