Schaffel Can't Stand Up to Kopp
Billy Kopp opened the pot to 600,000 fromt he small blind. Kevin Schaffel was in the big blind and called the raise. The two players eyed each other over on a flop of . Kopp had first action and made it 800,000 to go. Schaffel calle. On the turn Kopp fired again, for 1.75 million total. That bet was enough to fold Schaffel. Kopp's count is now approximately 20.2 million. Schaffel has roughly half that, with 10.8 million.

The 5 through 10 spots are all pretty comparable, he'd certainly have a shot to double up a couple of times and make a run at it.

just read an article on ivey, he stands to win millions in prop bets if he takes this down, so he's playing for way more than 8.5 million, not to mention endorsements (even mroe of em)

keep in mind he has only 5% of the chips, even with his talent you can't take a 1 in 20 and turn it into a 1 in 4 imho.

if i were making odds there's no way the chip leader would be -220 either with 1/4 of the chips.

I don't know about that. A lot of the times these small chip stacks take advantage of players with lots of chips who are playing tight 'cause they're too afraid to lose their chips. Ivey would take advantage of all that...I say the guy comes in 4th place.
