Syracuse +17 at Duke a good bet?

Are lower your bet size ALOT so you have some action and can watch the game.

Actually, it isn't because of I want to just watch the game.

I put in $500 deposit into DraftKings to get $500 free bet.

I live in PA, but you can bet online only in New Jersey. I'm at Hard Rock casino hotel at the moment and I have to go home tomorrow.

Since I don't know when I would be able to come back to New Jersey to make the bet, I want to just bet the whole thing and get it over with.

Actually, I started betting on football with only $500 in the first week of October and I never had a losing week and cleared over $10,000. It could have been easily over $20,000 if I didn't hedge any of my bets.

I was done with sports betting as I helped my parents and gave them $6,000 for their losses in casinos, so I didn't even bet any NFL games this past weekend as I bet mostly ML parlays and teasers. I would have lost had I bet since I was going to take Dallas on the spread.

I'm done with the sports betting until the next season with football except for maybe Super Bowl.

Actually, the first bet I make is of my own cash deposit of $500, so it's not a free bet. So, if I lose, then I lose $500, but I will get another shot with the $500 free. My dad likes the Saints -3.5 in the conference championship, so I probably bet that with the free $500 bet.

I made over $500 in casinos for this past weekend's trip and I'm still at Hard Rock hotel because my kids got sick and could not go to school so I told my wife to come so we could eat the buffet for $10 each for being the highest level player here before we go home tomorrow.

So, even if I lost the $500 bet I'm ahead.

Well, I was hoping for a bigger school or a better team, but EMU looks to be pretty bad this year so the score of that game means nothing as they lost by 38. But the total score was 130, so it was under the total 146.5 which is the over/under for tonight's game.

Nope, I was so wrong. It was just a blip that the line was off because they were adjusting the line and it went up to Syracuse +17.5.

I'm new to DraftKings and all other books I used never did that, i.e. totally remove the line for me to pick so you cannot even pick it when they are adjusting their line. That's pretty bad.

They should do it like BookMaker or Bovada where you can still pick it but it will adjust before you make the final bet.

It's higher juiced on the over and honestly the higher juiced odds tend to cover more often than not as the lower juiced odds is where the public or more money is on.

Not great at picks, and do NOT spend $500 a pick, more around $120-$200 MAX, but its a poor play. Duke is coming off a close game, and Syracuse plays zone, Duke wil shoot 3's all day long and they will just smash Cuse. This isn't the same Cuse team from years past. BOL with what you choose to do

So, are you saying Zone cannot or does not defend the 3's?

With the 3's, a team could have an off day unless Duke is so consistent in shooting 3's and quite good at it. I thought they were more of the inside game team, but who knows since the only game I watched of them is against Zaga and they lost.

The comparison of Zaga and Cuse though is MILES away.. Georgia Tech who was 10-6 or so I believe walked into Cuse and dominated them inside and beat Cuse in Syracuse by 10+

Id never want to talk anyone out of a bet, but Id honestly stay away from Cuse.... Duke wins by 25+ IMO
