count: Fed at 20, Rafa at 17

this would be Rafa's 18th slam win and his 7th off of clay

Rafa is 23-15 Head to Head v FED and if he can win his 18th slam he IS ABSOLUTELY IN THE DISCUSSION FOR GOAT SIMPLY BECAUSE HE HAS BEATEN THE SUPPOSED GOAT 23 OUT OF 38 TIMES THEYVE MET

No doubt if Rafa can surpass his grandslam titles hes the Goat but if he doesnt even against the heads up numbers it goes to Roger just because of the Clay factor for rafa. Dont count out the Joker catching both of them.

I respectfully disagree. I think with two guys so close in total slam wins, and both at the top of the heap all time, the separator is the H2H.

I promise you that if Rafa wins his 18th on Sunday, the talking heads all over sports talk on Monday will open up the GOAT discussion once again which they had closed when Fed won his 20th.

I am a big fan of both players. I am one of the LEAST biased people you will speak to about this subject. Most side with one or the other due to bias - I am speaking in more neutral terms.

                                    good discussion

Federer could only win titles when Nadal/Djoker/Or Murray were injured... seriously djoker owned fed at the top of his game. Nadal owns fed on clay... djoker owns fed on s hardcourt . Fed won alot of slams befor Nadal and Joker were even around... djokovic has had to contend with Nadal and Federer in their primes as well as a solid murray and Wawrinka.

Theres no doubt in my mind Nadal, Djokovic then Federer

                                          17 majors

11 of them at the french

                                          Federer 20 slams

11 of those slams were on hardcourt at either us open or australia. that's 55% of his slams

yes rafa, has 11 of his 17 slams on clay but that is 65%.

if he wins wimbledon he will then have 11 of 18 on clay, which is 61%

55% vs 61%. pretty close yea?

I bet you and other Fed backers never thought of it that way did you? US OPEN AND AUSTRALIA BOTH HARDCOURT SO LET'S NOT FORGET THAT WHEN JUDGING 11 OF FED'S 20 SLAM TITLES

ALSO HEAD TO HEAD RAFA LEADS 23-15 OVERALL VS FED. THAT HAS TO COUNT FOR SOMETHING

                                                  2 us open
                                                  1 australian

Ill take 79 titles for rafa to 51 for fed anyday of the week plus he is 4 years younger... lol this isnt even a debate

It doesnt matter who you play and what surfaces it just comes down to that. Like i said before Joker has 12 and if he wins this one he might go on a run for the next 3 years and dominate like he did a few years ago.For the next 3 years its going to come down to these 3 anyways. These so called youngsters like Thiem Zverev and this dipshit Kyrgios arent winning shit any time soon.Fed is Goat right now but Nadal and Joker could change that!!
