at the risk of jinxing myself here are my picks and analysis.

Cle +151, I hate Lilly,
NyM -125 Santana, don't know bout his troubles, but at that price at home, I give him a shot.
NYY Even, Burnett's been a pig lately, but he's still a strong pitcher, and that price is too tempting
ATL +150 Lowe at that price, excellent. Beckett's been running hot, inflated price.
KCY +150 good price for a home team. Not sold on Carpenter and ST louis.

I know that's some heavy analysis, but that's all the effort I have in me.

Thanks a ton reno, its always very helpful to get fresh insight here. All of us on this thread are still leaning and working really hard at becoming better capers, so the analysis is very helpful. Im intrigued by both of your plays on the dogs, we will have to consider those a bit more closely. Best of luck and thanks again.

Alright guys here's my plays for today, I just bet all these straight and now need a 4-teamer out of the bunch.....lets break it down

Cubs RL +115***
Mets ML -120
Mets Over 7.5
Nationals ML +105***
Orioles ML +120
Orioles Under 9.5
Marlins ML -110
Braves ML +150***
Royals ML +145***
Giants ML -145***

The starred games are the ones I feel really good about, but let me know what you think. Let's get a 4-teamer together

Thanks for the contributions Paco and DD. Its looking like we'll pass on the early game because there hasn't been a consensus. If anyone here is looking to play it, the general consensus seems to have been the Cubs. I hope to see the rest of the board around before the afternoon games. Also, there are some MMA fights tonight as well as a WNBA game. Maybe we'll get some input on those as well.

We already have some great suggestions from the group, so I'll go a head and throw out the games that most intrigue me. MIL, TAM, TOR, PHI, TEX, OAK, ARI, TAM over, TOR under. Be back a bit later, you boys enjoy your morning and afternoon.

And i have to believe its because of the negative energy going around late last night while i was capping. It made me more focues in the game and find key points to success...

Lets see if we can agree on MIL. Lots of support for it, here's some more for the last five games:

BA SLG BUL WHIP IP
Brewers: .308 .557 1.592 20.1
Tigers: .255 .485 1.543 16.2

Tigers are throwing a rook against Bush... even the line movement suggests MIL.

TIK, I'm with you on the other games. I don't like the Mets in this spot and KC looks valuable but risky. STL appears to be on a tear once again, and KC might be cooling down. Books in Vegas are getting hit by the public betting the Mets (86%) but they have calmly moved the line to near even money. I say we side with the books here and jump on the Rays.
