Yea.. bit of a turd in the punch bowl. I'm no longer a 100k guy. LOL

Easy come easy go. Just try to make a little bit from wave to wave is what I say. I can never tell when I will get caught with my pants around my ankles, or when I will pound the market like a 22 year old college catholic school girl. It always surprises me even when I expect it sometimes. Watch for turn around Tuesday.

Sold some put options for GOLD and AEM today, collecting premium but hoping to get the stocks. Still bullish longer term on gold.

After market trading has been wild. I had sold BIIB puts in late Oct; 240 strike price with a Nov 6 expiration. Last Thursday the stock rockets up 100 points to around 350. Closes Friday at around 327 so I figure I just keep the premium but miss out on the big run-up.
Saturday I get an options alert email from TD Ameritrade saying my put was exercised...must be a mistake since nobody would sell it to me at 240 when it's priced at 327. Wake up this morning to see the stock gap opens at 230 and I did in fact buy it at 240. My Nov 6th option was exercised on Nov 7th in the after market while the stock was in a free-fall. Crazy!!

I never heard of NRZ pre chico. But I do like stwd which is back to $17.

ROYer i understand. you and Chico are BOTH great contributors here in this thread and when you were gone for 8 months or whatever it was, you were missed. however, tensions and tempers are high right now and i believe there is something under the surface here.

let's help each other out in here. we can take jabs at each other in other threads but in this one let's try and help each other and if at all possible, leave the personal side shitt for the other ones.

He was forced to sell back to marathon and lease station. I worked there for 3 months 1 summer. Sentimental old fool am I. Good luck. Also have vtgdf which I lost a fortune on.

Yep, I own XOM and CVX in my dividend-paying account. Dividends sure haven't offset the valuation drops. But I plan to keep holding.

Speaking of beatings, I've been curb stomped with RIG the last 5 years. My mistake was doing slurry pumping business with them and thinking that it matters in the overall profitability. So now rig has some top notch deep water capabilities but without oil at $65 +, it wont even be deployed.

Had that for 6 month. Got killed on them ,seadrill,xom,e.t and sun to name a few. I have 130,000 shares of vtgdf at 2 plus just because they were nice to my mom when they were buying oil rigs. She has gave me other winners in sear, Nine West ,cardinal energy ,Parker drilling, pioneer energy services and banana republic. Every time she offers A stock my ass puckers. She tried to get me to invest in twitter and throws that in my face. But she was reason I made money in Fb. She bought at 35 and sold at 165.

penetrate every time you gave me baba there was always a pull back immediately which cost me. figured you were doing a bait a switch. then when the tariffs hit it dropped like a rock. my stop loss (which my nephew did for me) which i can't figure out. FWIW, I believe DKNG is a good investment longer term. I believe they report before the open tomorrow.
