The NCAA tourney without Pitino and Izzo just seems so strange. These guys are/were staples, institutions within themselves.

It's true though, the Mich St. situation is very bad.

Unfortunately, I think these types of stories are going to be more prevalent, even among the top institutions. At one point, the money and competition at the top level is just too tough to stay clean.

It's not the gymnastics scandal that will get them fired. It's the multiple football and basketball players raping and assaulting women. I think both are gone. I don't know all the facts but from what I heard, they both knew of several reports with their players and they did not expose it, which means they covered it up. The entire school covered up any attempts to get answers all the way to where they were sued to come clean. This might be worse than Pedo State.
