Uconn +5 vs. Arkansas
Uconn defense kept them in the game for 30min vs. MSU until they fell off and let it get away from them. Their D should keep them in this one against Arkansas who may likely be without their starting guard and best shooter. Without Macon, who hurt his ankle vs. UNC Friday, the razor thin Razorback backcourt will see a soph guard start and freshmen off the bench. Not only would they miss Macon’s 16 ppg & 50% 3pt shooting, but they’d miss his experienced defense against a really talented Uconn backcourt of Adams, Gilbert & Larrier. Would not be surprised to see Uconn pull off a quality win here.

Duke vs. Florida over 163.5
Gators red hot shooting should continue against the Duke zone D since Florida has at least 4 perimeter shooters on the court at all times. On the flip side, Bagley & Carter could likely go crazy scoring down low, and we know Duke will get to the charity stripe often tonight.

Ohio State PK vs. Butler
Buckeyes are fully healthy now, while Butler is missing a key player in McDermott. I like Holtman & his coaching staff’s familiarity with the Butler players and I think that gives them the edge to pull out a gritty win.

You think Heels win easily tonight? That’s a laughable statement. MSU has the better team. UNC has the coaching advantage.

I lean MSU here, watching the line and if anything on Bridges comes out (he’s playing, but didn’t look healthy last game). MSU has advantage down low, and if Winston plays like he did in the 2H vs. Uconn then Spartans can get a lead and pull away for good.

I do. Both teams have the advantage on offense. Duke can score at will down low vs. thin and undersized front court for gators. Florida has the 2 things you need to break the 2-3 zone: senior guards with good dribble drive penetration, and strong perimeter shooting all over the court.

Maybe all the OT is moving the line down. But these are young kids with a whole day off yesterday, I’ll bet on them having fresh enough legs to leave it all on the court tonight in a big time matchup.
