Milwaukee mike, our pathetic teams are tied for dead last

Lol. Let's combine our teams buddy, I think together we could take down the cardinals.

i was just talking about this with my buddy (and his girlfriend who's a cubs fan) at the game yesterday. only a few short years ago the cubs and brewers were battling for first, those were some fun years.
now it's just pitiful and hopeless for both the brewers and cubs

sad to be esssentially out of the running a month in but talent wise neither one appears capable of going on a big run

Yeah, Cubs are actually playing good baseball since the awful start. The pitching staff has come around, we've got 4 good starters and a piece of shit in Volstad but hopefully Travis Wood can replace Volstad.

The offense will suck all year though. Can't fix that. So many automatic outs in our lineup. If we combined rosters, we'd be good.

Actually it might be fixed if the powers that be see fit to call up talent in ass to replace the overpaid junk in the lineup.

I'm hesitant to call up guys early... we seem to call up people too early and they lose confidence.

    Felix Pie
    Bobby Hill
    Juan Cruz
    Corey Patterson
    Hee Seop Choi

The list goes on and on.

Mike, your picture just proves how much sexier Taylor Swift is... Avril doesn't look as good as a blonde. *ducks head from thrown objects*

It happens. New era. PLayer by player basis. Anthony Rizzo is ready to give it another go. He struggled in limited time last year in SD but he'll be fine. They'll call him up when the weather improved in June. He's going to mash a lot like LaHair. Think Brett Jackson will be fine too.

Could have had the same worries about Starlin Castro. It goes both ways.

Well Castro has struggled badly defensively. Hopefully he gets through it.

And Rizzo should be up... LaHair's back won't allow him to play much outfield though I don't think.

I thought he could play OF. Forgot about his back issue. Very tricky situation then. Can't trade the best hitter on the team. But Rizzo can't wallow in the minors if he's ready. Tricky indeed.
