nicely put.
however, you do a google on what the majority of American people desire from their government. you will find that more than 50%, much more, of the D's platform Americans agree with. don't believe me check it out. one of the great reasons R continue to win race besides gerrymandering is their ability to BS the American people. they can do nothing correct but they have an uncanny ability to buffalo the American people.
you need a perfect example of this, check out all the populist promises DT made, promises he said he would deliver on the first day and in the first 100 days. how many of them came to fruition. They BS the public, the public buys into it, the public gets screwed and the entire fiasco is repeated again and again. problem with this strategy is the American people will catch on, eventually. Even the crazies will think, wait DT promised coal jobs--none happened. Wait, DT promised the wealthy would pay more--his budget has the exact opposite. Wait, DT promised a massive infrastructure--where is that? Even the very stupid eventually catch on to BS.
and let us not forget that DT lost the popular vote by nearly 3 million, so the majority of people want what the D's preach. if that trend continues it will be disastrous for the R brand. Even if gerrymandering continues.
