Is $10,000 enough to lay on the son of a meth dealer???

I would bet $1,000 on +300 fading him before I lay 10 dimes to win 3.

It's not -300 for Joba, it's -300 because the Yanks won 8 straight and are the hottest team in the league right now. Plus their playing the lowly Orioles.. I haven't seen the line yet but I'm sure there's gonna be GREAT value in Baltimore.

As big a Yankee fan as I am, I'm pretty sure they lose tomorrow. They NEVER sweep the Orioles, gotta give Baltimore one outta three

I envision Joba doing well, giving up two-three runs, but the Yankee bats will be silenced and Joba never goes past the sixth inning, Yanks bullpen will show that despite the win streak, the bullpen still sucks and blow it (except Mo of course)

                  actually it's 900 to win 300 but who's counting?

and if i gave you orlando right now +20 would you lay 1000 to win 300? i sure as hell would. don't let the fact that it's a big number scare you off IF the risk/reward is good.

He's -300 mostly because of all the square Metropolitan money going on him.

You're officially a square if you lay -300 on the Yankees no matter who they're playing.

I don't care if they're playing the ******* Bad News Bears.

Exactly. People act like the lines revolve 100% around the starting pitcher. The Yankees are thriving from all angles right now.

You can't say that when the line is -300.

If it was Hughes pitching tomorrow, is it anywhere near the same number?

You realize this argument makes no sense, right? ERA under four versus ERA over seven.... Of course the odds are going to change if Hughes was pitching instead of Chamberlain. That doesn't mean SP is the only factor in the odds.

This line has so much more to do with it being THE MUTHAFUKIN YANKEEZ with a MUTHAFUKIN HUGE WINNING STREAK going against the terrible Orioles. People love to bet on the Yankees. Eff the Orioles they're irrelevant................

BS it's irrelevant. Hughes is -180, -200 the most!!!

You can't make a blanket statement about a team being that high priced just because they're hot. Not with a number that high.

MLB lines are based on starting pitchers. Blue is correct here.

Would the line be -300 if the Yanks brought up a kid from A ball to start? I don't think so.

matchbook has -274, i actually don't think it's as outrageous as some here.
i think there's a 73% chance the yankees win this game if you go listed pitchers.

Every time the Yankees are big favorites, they tens to keep the game close and low scoring. This game wil make both sides sweat it out till the 8th or 9th when the Yankees will win on a Damon dink hit or a passed ball by an Orioles pitcher. Yankees 4-2 final score.

Because if it is played 4 times and the Yankees win 3 it's a push. If the Yankees win 4 out of 5 times means they will win 130 games this year. Do you think the Yankees will win 130 games this year? Then betting a -300 fav in MLB has no value.
