You can't get yourself saved, God does the saving. So no I wouldn't count on that at all. You need to cry out for Mercy now, for now is the day where God is saving a great number of people.

I still like the idea that pimike should sign papers to donate his possessions and money to charity. If he is 100% certain that the end is coming, it won't matter anyway. The fact that he won't do this only proves that there is a part of him that second guesses the prediction.

This is true but there are many details that were left out. People will know when the end is coming. From what I can gather its not near yet.

First of all there has to be a leader from the middle east (who is the anti christ) emerge to take control of the world or most of it. This man is very peaceful at first and most non Christians flock to him because he is able to do supernatural things. They havent been warned about him or dont care because they've never seen anything like it. After a couple years or so of rule he turns into his real self and starts worldwide wars.

I'm no biblical scholar but from what I can gather this is what starts in Revelation. There is tons of stuff that happens, I need to go back to my tapes and books on the subject I've forgotten most of it.

Also anyone who claims to know the exact date is kidding themselves unless it is Jesus himself. He is the only one who knows when this will start to go down. But it will go down.

If Pimike has asked God to come into his life and believes in Jesus, all of his sins are forgiven. Past, future, and present.

Of course Pimike needs to have a conscience and there are punishments for sin but gambling is not a sin. Getting caught up in it to where it takes over your life is a sin. Where the line is drawn is up to God and I dont know.

But its all irrelevant if pimike really has love for Jesus and asked Jesus into his heart. At that point you really go through a change. Its very real. You have to really believe though. No half stepping.

Then you start going to church, make friends with people who are Christians themselves. You WILL change.

The Lord is a big part of my everyday life and I thank him daily.

Don't get me wrong Wileout but the Revelation was written in 100-200 AD by a person that lived in the Middle East. Off course he will write the Anti-Christ will be from the Middle East. Do you actually expect him to write he will be from Canada, Chile, Vanuatu or Hawaii? Noone knew these places back then. The Revelation was "The DaVinci Code" of its time. A good book for entertainment purposes that the church included in the Bible to spread fear and control the masses of Christians for the next 2,000 years. People like pimike and all the other goons that believe the end of the world will be described in detail in a book.

Another thing. When a Christian goes on to a message board, the intentions are good but you have to remember that not every Christian went to monastery school. You don't have to be able to answer all questions or even any questions about the Bible to be a Christian. You just have to believe in Jesus as the Son of God and to have asked him to guide you. That is why salvation is not limited to smart people.

All that is required is a belief in Jesus as the Son of God and to ask him to come into your life. If you ask and mean it, he will come.

A knowledge of the Bible is not a requirement to go to heaven, but if you become a Christian you will become thirsty for knowledge of the Bible.

Change your heart, start to love your enemies. I find that this is a great way to start the change. The Lord said (and I paraphrase of course because I have not been to monastery school) "what is the point in simply loving your friends. Where is the gratification in that? The man (or woman) who loves their enemies is the one who gets the most gratification. He is the blessed one." Or something like that. The point was made I don't have to know the verse word for word.

Of course he was from the middle east. Israel and Jerusalem are God's chosen land. The middle east is ground zero for all that happens Biblically because that is the way God wanted it. That is why he chose people who were around the middle east to be the prophets. Everything biblically starts in the middle east. And they did know of other places back then. The Roman empire was how big? International trade had already started. And lol the Bible is written by people who were spoken to directly by God. Do you think God did not know of other lands (that he created)?

No disrespect to you WileOut...but this response is what gives me the biggest chuckle pertaining to Christians trying to explain why their beliefs are correct. It ultimately always ends in this answer once the questions become unanswerable.

I find it hard to believe that a God of 6 billion people will chose 3 million to be the chosen ones. Like the Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims and other deity believers are all sinners. What will God do on judgement day with the non-christians? Will he treat them the same way as the sinner Christians and send them to hell? Will he send Dalai Lama to hell because he doesn't believe in Jesus?

Church is the biggest organized deception in the history of mankind. Any book written by a human being telling other humans about when the end of the world will come by God is nothing better than any other fiction book written through thousands of human history.
