I've know Arlo Guthrie for as long as I can remember, see him multiple times a year. His sister Anne was our neighbor until she died a few years back.

When Thabo Sefolosha and his wife Bertille lived in OKC, we spent a fair amount of time with them. I took classes with Bertille at UCO, my wife got to know her through dance and would baby sit their daughters. My wife and Bertille would hang out at least 3-4 times a week.

As far as actually knowing anyone famous, that's it. I've met most of the Thunder and even hung out with a lot of them, but didn't really know them.

I know a lot of famous people, grew up with a guy who took over singing with skynrd after the wreck who got kicked out of band for doing too much coke. Cousins band toured with skinner in late 70's early 80's/Now he sings for skinny molly. Another guy is the meat head on sex drugs and rock in roll greg dulli afghan wigs. tom dinkle use to be on local radio and we hung out few times now he is a fox football announcer. he played for bengals
