    If someone finishes in the top 10, but they know that they will not be able to play in too many of the actual Ryder Cup events, can they give their spot to the 11th place finisher? Maybe both could split any points won for instance.

    It isnt me, but one guy who is in the top 10 of the US team at this moment wont be able to play some of the days. i would imagine that the same thing could happen to another team as well

    How far do you have to go down on the US list to NOT be #1 on the world team??

    Also I'm actually a US player, just listed in Europe because I'm visiting. Though I'll gladly represent Europe , I'm assuming once I'm back in the US I'll be moved back into the tough group
