Villanova +1600 2x

hmm, you mention "senior guards" and say yuck to Wichita state. Ron baker, and vanvleet could be the best backcourt in the nation outside of hield and cousins. Wichita state has won 15 out of their last 16. I had huge expectations for them before the season and now that they're healthy they're ready to make noise. Experienced in tournament play as well

You play them small and can hedge out later in tournament, I've had some profitable futures before

Agreed, much better to churn the money than tie it up in futures that are probably shorting you huge on the payout.

This is true but when it comes down to the mechanics of the books, you often get screwed with vig.

But for a short term gain, after all a win is a win, I too have bought futures and hedged. You kind of have to know when the market is offering it for a taking and when to hold off.

I guess I just don't buy into the futures game. It's one thing to be confident in a team but until the tournament is set one can't predict injuries or the other huge factor of matchups. Especially this season where there is no team that can dominate in any kind of game. I would at least wait to see the field then pick looking at possible matchups at least then you can break down who each will play and who has an easier road based on that. Any team could get fuked by the selection committee as we have seen in the past.

This shocker team is not as close to being as good as the squad with cleanthony early.... Loved them for years but not a chance this year - remember what iowa did to them down low? Any number of teams can crush them down low like that.

My top futures bets are on Kansas, MSU, Uconn, and Iowa State.

General recipe for a championship team is top 5 point guard, 7footer, good coach, well known program.

There's about 60 road favorites tomorrow, I picked 2 I'm in love with. Msu might be worth a look but they're a road fave also

Experience experience experience. Feel like these Wichita guards have been playing in the tournament since grade school. They're getting hot at the right time, I see em going deep. Can certainly hedge once they go deep like I expect

Yes. MSU should stomp mich the way indiana just did... Outrebound them by 10-15 boards, score in the paint, score in transition, hit 3s. MSU plays this game with the foot on the gas pedal but so will Michigan - the rivalry is heated. Still expect MSU to cover anything 5 or less pretty easy.

Bentil still questionable and if their is an update will come tomorrow. It's an ankle injury and I would not be surprised if he plays.

Ochefu is doubtful with a concussion. I'm not sure the protocol here but it sounds like he's going to be out.

It may be as simple as Ochefu wakes up and can jump without a headache and he's in, but I'm not sure.
