i dont like the yanks, but in fairness, they dont have their two best hitters. Also, they are playing a better team. The rays play d, are young, and actually seem to like playing baseball. Yanks will still win 90+ games. But the Rays are better. I do enjoy watching a great team beat a bunch of mercenaries, thats for sure!

c: they have posada back, and matsui.

Jeter probably thinks he is going to get a massive contract again, I doubt one team would want an aging vet that hits singles and is an average fielder. He could be a god utility guy though next year. You cannot beat youth in bases.
