In his new statement, Trump also notes “many fabulous people come in from Mexico” legally, “and our country is better for it,” adding, “I am proud to say that I know many hard working Mexicans—many of them are working for and with me…and, just like our country, my organization is better for it.”
The OP was pretty close in his Trump apology prediction.

Not only has Trump not apologized he's upped the ante having functions with fathers of victims detailing plights of their own with criminal Mexicans.

The damage he's done to his name in the hispanic community - he will never recover from.
The fact is, most legal (ya know, the voting ones) hispanics know many undocumented/illegal workers. To speak in such generalities, he insulted ALL OF THEM (whether he realizes it or not). Callous and patronizing language "And some...I assume are good" won't go away in 16 months.
This refrain of "they're sending" implies that somehow the shrewd Mexican government rounds up only the bad people and forces them across the border might play to the john birch crowd, but it's not enough to get elected on.
If he gets the nomination, he'll try to make peace with a Rubio-esque Latino to try and win back the unwinnable.
Either he (somehow) wins the nomination and loses by a margin that would make Mondale proud of his own result. Or he goes independent.
Either way, he'll blame the press (who do nothing but give him air time). Maybe throw in a few new conspiracies "The Chicago Machine would never allow reform!" or "I won't say who, but let's just say some high up sources told me my life would be in danger"
But by all means, please continue.

just the opposite actually. Only a tiny percentage of the hispanic population are caught up in this nonsense of pretending its something other than Trump making a point. Most hispanics are reasonable people. The silent majority as they say.
In Trump's speech yesterday, he said he will win the latino vote. I believe him. He's been great to latinos over the years and no reason he won't be as president either.

(Breitbart) – Attorneys for Ingmar Guandique, an illegal immigrant from El Salvador who murdered Washington intern Chandra Levy in 2001, will likely ask for Guandique to be released from jail while he awaits a retrial of his 2010 conviction. A hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.
Gunadique’s attorneys requested a new trial, asserting that evidence from a key witness against Guandique was false or misleading and claiming that a new trial would serve the “interests of justice.” In May, prosecutors agreed to a new trial despite the fact that they thought that Guandique’s conviction was justified. In June, a judge ruled that a new trial could be held; it is scheduled for 2016.
The Levy case created a national sensation. Congressman Gary A. Condit, who was having an affair with Levy, 24, was initially suspected of her murder, but he was cleared. It took a year after the murder for Levy’s remains to be discovered.
Because of the lack of forensic evidence linking Guandique to the murder, he was not convicted until a former cellmate revealed Guandique’s confession in 2006. Guandique confessed he was high on drugs in Rock Creek Park when he saw Levy wearing a waist pouch, so he robbed her. Guandique told the cellmate, “You don’t understand. . . . Homeboy, I killed the [expletive], but I didn’t rape her.

Donald Trump isn't the type of guy who apologizes.
He also insults people and companies like a high school student. He's definitely entertaining.
@GovernorPerry failed on the border. He should be forced to take an IQ test before being allowed to enter the GOP debate.
.@SenJohnMcCain should be defeated in the primaries. Graduated last in his class at Annapolis--dummy!
I hope the boycott of @Macys continues forever. So many people are cutting up their cards. Macy's stores suck and they are bad for U.S.A.

He's got a great message but unless he shakes things up, the Washington media won't listen.
So far so good.
I can see a Trump/Walker or Trump/Cruz presidency. That is what America needs.

Trump/Walker sounds better but again, I like his message but he needs to show some gentlemens respect at times. Setting fire to all of your friends and enemies isn't always the best idea. Sometimes best to let the haters win a time or two imho.
IE I hope he isn't reveling his entire hand early like a fool.

Can't wait for Trump to chew these guys up in the debates. They'll all
be prepping with debate coaches carrying talking point notes hoping for
a chance to shine on stage. Walker, Cruz, Carson & Carly are kinda
wily & should do OK, if the others try to take on Trump they'll find thenselves
stunned in the spotlight & you'll see the sweat streak the pain on their
faces.

I find it strange that everyone doesn't like Trump. He wants more American jobs, a simplified tax system, a better healthcare system and stop criminals from entering illegally into the country. The horror of it all.
I hope he slugs someone in the debate. Except Carly.

lol name me 1 non fake politician.
Why would the average voter want to vote for someone they cant relate to? Answer: they dont.
They are all fake, partially because they are forced to wear many faces if they plan on appealing to the greatest number of people.
Its the nature of the beast that is politics.
Perhaps if Donald toned down the pigheadedness and abrasive dialogue he may actually begin to get some real political traction.
.
Im sure his ego and bragging about his wealth will see to it that he is anything but relatable....
