It is well documented that any time one side is presented as “good” and the other side as “bad” the good side will always get a higher percentage in theory than reality. When asked if you found valuable property and you knew you could get away with keeping it, would you keep it or do the right thing. Do the right thing always gets 90% +. It makes people feel good to say/believe they would do the right thing. I can promise you that in reality a much smaller percentage turn the item in. the last time I worked in service we have a kind of “lost and found” I would say valuable items are turned in maybe 30-35% of the time. Trump has certainly been presented as the bad guy by the media and as such his poll #’s are fake low. This is not theory but a PROVEN FACT.
In the final state before Cruz quit, Indiana the polls had Trump winning 37% ( clout research), 41%( ARG ), 42% ( Real Clear Politics) and 44% (Gravis). These were their final polling numbers. Trump got 55%.
Think this is just 1 state ? You would be wrong. One week earlier on Tuesday There were 5 states, Trump won all 5 states by at least 12% points higher than the average poll numbers said he would for that state. Every single state --- by at least 12% points higher.
So while the polls have been right saying Trump would win, they have vastly underestimated him and been in fact 100% wrong when it comes to his massive support.
The exact opposite is true of Hillary. Polls have consistently said she would do better than she ended up doing. Noone and I mean Noone on Earth said Sanders would win 25 + States. Including winning 19 out of 25. In Indiana, the 5 polls had Clinton getting from 51-55% of the vote. She got 47. In the 5 states prior to that, her average amongst the polls was 56% and she got 44%.
So for Clinton supporters there is no way you should be OK with these latest poll numbers showing her up 5-10%. They have been overestimating her and underestimating Trump by MORE than that this entire election cycle. If that holds true—YOU LOSE.
