I just disagree that being that way alone got Trump that far...maybe a very small minority like Trump because he's said some questionable things but most people like him because he's outspoken, much more patriotic than other candidates, and people believe in him to fix some long festering problems in our federal government.

Trump swoops in and the power brokers thought they had Jeb in place with Cruz as the backup plan and now they are openly trying to steal the will of the people. Is this China or something? It has ticked the people off and they are running scared now.

Cruz is a rules based, "evangelical" snake. He doesn't look trustworthy because he isn't really. He's more of the annoying high achiever without a sense of diplomacy even in trying times. I respect him on some level, but it is overshadowed by the fact that he clearly knows, and has always known, that he is not eligible to be president --- yet claims that he cares about the Constitution. More double standard crap. There's nothing he can do that Trump can't do, and Trump will do it better. He has 845. He needs 392 more. There are 733 remaining. That comes out to 53 % of the remaining delegates.

Of the 3 remaining candidates combined they have 1552 delegates and Trump has 845 of those -- which is 55 %.

So if he stays at the same pace, he will get more than 1237.

All he needs is 1150 + to lock up the nomination. But he will get the 1237.

I don't follow make believe polls about matchups that are no even certain yet. These type of polls have a terrible track record 6 months ago, they said Trump would not even be a factor in this republican race. Now they are dreaming up every possible way to cheat him out of it. The polls were wrong then, so its crazy to pay attention to polls for an election that happens 7 months from now. I mean these same polls say Kasik would do better than Trump or Clinton, which is obvious nonsense. He is getting his ass kicked now. In fact , RUBIO is still ahead of Kasik.That just shows that those polls are more wishful thinking than reality. Clinton has had every advantage imaginable but is actually getting beat ( if we don’t count the SD scam ) by a guy no one had ever heard of a year ago. Trump has been put at every disadvantage imaginable yet has won a dominant victory. And honestly, I think if Clinton does not choose Bernie as her running mate, Trump will KILL her. Bernie supporters are saying in polls overwhelmingly that they will never vote for Clinton. Interestingly the media never talks about that, just about all the republicans who say they wont vote for Trump.
