Despite how closed minded someone may appear to be, I think it's best to respond as intelligently as possible despite what level anyone approaches you at. Using your opponents response as an excuse for your own response's shortcomings does not give it any more weight. I hear where your coming from. I just desperately pray for the day we may all have discussions about these things without getting at each other's throats.

While I know where I stand, I have no desire to dismiss the opinions of those I disagree with. Without intelligent discussion we have no recourse nor way to better understand the ideas of those we disagree with.
