Was put onto this by someone in the other thread. Line way too big. Game should be a toss up that UCD has a slight advantage in. Im expecting that this comes down to a couple possessions. UCD has played incredibly well in Big West lately.

UCSB playing decently but their best wins have been Hawaii, Longbeach, Cal Poly, FGCU & Vermont. UC Davis is better than all of those teams and has proven they can win on the road in conference play going 5-1.

Green Bay -9 @ Illinois Chicago (1U)

Illinois Chicago is just outside the bottom 50 teams in college basketball. Green Bay is the probably the best team in the Horizon league as I have not bought into Valparaiso yet. Illinois Chicago is 0-7 against the top 100 teams, losing those games by an average of 17 points. They have shown 0 signs of life vs good teams.

For some reason I thought this was in Green Bay, not Chi Town. I don't know how much I care. Green Bay could use a blowout win against a lesser talent.

While I know this is a square ass fukkin play, i just don't think BC has it in them. The team is nothing without Hanlan. If they can stop him, they should roll here. State playing some good basketball lately too. They know to slow things down on the road to beat good teams. The question is can they keep it up against a bad one?

UAB -4.5 vs Middle Tennessee State (1U)

UAB only has not lost a home game in conference play. Middle Tenn is pretty bad on the road with their only conference win on the road @ Southern Miss who is a member of the illustrious bottom 50. UAB is a marginally better team so I will lay 5 at home.

I know a few people might think I'm crazy for this pick. Air Force playing very well at home lately. I'm just not convinced. Last 4 home wins, only one of them is particularly impressive in my opinion. They best UNLV by 1 so can't think too hard about that result, New Mex by 4 and a dreadful Nevada team. Only the Wyoming win is convincing and that was a Larry Nance-less Wyoming so I don't even really know how much I worry about that.

A team can only get lucky in these close games so often.
