I actually haven't filled out a bracket in about five years.
Fans who really know the game don't bother with the "lottery pick" contests and such. It's a total crapshoot, and the more you know, the more you struggle with this stuff. That's why some chick who picks by color scheme wins your office pool every year.

It's fun if it's free. Otherwise, not worth the waste of money. Just use it to bet.

The moment people start posting shit here, I change my mind based on that. too many people on certain teams gets me second guessing myself. Gotta roll with the gut but hard to do reading this board.

it takes about 10 minutes to do it now that everything is online
now if you wanna talk fantasy sports that are a complete waste of time then i would completely agree with you

I've made over $20,000 in fantasy leagues (haven't done it in about four years though). Way more +EV than gambling if you find the right suckers to go against and leagues to be in. You face a bunch of morons who draft their favorite players instead of trying to beat the books.

It takes time and patience. You have to do your homework. No instant gratification.
To be honest, I wish I'd just stuck with that and never started gambling. Because once you start betting daily, fantasy sports are way too slow and methodical. I couldn't stay focused enough to win a fantasy league now if I tried, because I'm too hooked on everyday betting/capping.

Those days went the way of the early online poker days...minimal fish. Patience won't matter, everyone can draft a solid team and it's mostly luck now. Like you said though, tough to stay focused anyway as you need that daily satisfaction.

The midwest is gonna be tough for any team after rd 1...I think Florida and Kansas can be easily penciled in for the south. East and west look prime for upsets. I can see ok st coming out of the east as a 9. Always is impossible to get this stuff right though...its march madness after all.

Cuse/MSU/L'Ville/Zona...sticking with my gut...MSU and L'Ville bugging me out with so much love. I'd like to put someone over Zona but I don't see a team anywhere to do that. Gut says Zona wins it all as well, easiest walk to the Final Four in ages. Hey Chalky

Its impossible, don't waste your time. I would think just betting games individually is the best way to go.

Seems like the Florida/Michigan State game winner is the champ in the court of public opinion.

why wouldn't someone fill out a bracket or two? Free cash or prizes? I mean "C'mon Man!"
