Yuck....a 10-2 run by Duke is not going to help us in our college hoops game.....

Raps are looking like a crazy good unit....I just keep expecting them to let up against lower end teams and they keep surprising me.

Bedene bet was cancelled when Kohlschreiber dropped out late....Raonic looks decent, but Nishikori not looking good at all....

Because Chandler is back tonight. Everyone seems to think this will have a positive effect on scoring, but frankly when a key ball mover like Parsons comes back in for a team that is playing well....I tend to downgrade their scoring for at least one game. This Houston isn't last years Houston.....these guys can actually play D (oh my god, I hate to admit this) and Howard is making a real difference in the middle.

Houston is a notoriously slow starting team and I can see the Celts being close at the half.....in fact Boston's last three games, on the road against VERY good Western opposition kept all of the games to single digit losses. I think they dig in, and while I doubt they have a shot in the game straight up, I think the teams battle a bit more than expected. I am expecting a 101 to 92 sort of game, for a Houston victory.

Sometimes I wished I predicted more games....when I do enough analysis and actually make predictions, I seem to be pretty sharp. Missed HOU by 3 points and hit BOS on the 92.....glad we bet it twice.

Also, Raonic broke in the last game to win his match for us.....unfortunately Nishikori was in a great position to win his match and he was just broken in the 5th set. He still has a shot, but it isn't looking favourable.

Also, we lost the TB Columbus game in the NHL to two third period Power Play Goals.... that kinda stung a bit.

And now Knicks give up a 7 point 4th Quarter lead and they are down 5.....and the Bulls were down 4 and now down 13....in games where I have laid juice in the NBA this year I am 1-4 for a net loss of almost $500.....you would think I would learn....how gross.

Seppi is looking very good against Hewitt.....and that old goat Hewitt can battle for ages in the heat, even at 32. Hewitt was actually quite a big favourite, but I chose the OVER instead of going with Seppi....even though it is crazy hot I think this match could last for hours.

That was a thing of beauty....if you had asked me before the match what the perfect set would be I would have said 'Seppi in a tiebreak'.....the over may still not come in for us, but this is an amazing start....now we just need to have the Kinds blow open the Canucks game and it will be our best day in over a month.

No....but if he loses it it will still be a close one. Seppi is more affected by the heat, plus he isn't as good on this surface. Hewitt wins the first set and Seppi could have laid down and died....Hewitt will never do that...he know he has no shot to win the tourney, but if he wants a miracle he needs this match....and he is a fighter

Well, the tennis match goes over and we still have 2 one unit wagers to be settled.....at this point we are:

NHL

1-3 - $42

NCAA Hoops

3-0 + $300

Aussie Open

NBA

5-4 + $95.50


Totals:

12-7 + 503.50

It has been a funny little run....my NBA numbers are upside down, and until today we had not had one big day.....yet we have won 12 of our last 15 days, and on our 3 losing days our worst day was only -2.5 units.....which means we are close to +40 units over our last 15 days....that is a very solid run and it feels just 'right'.

I still wish I could explain that bad 10 day run that we had.....I had honestly never experienced anything like it.....even last year in MLB (which I eventually abandoned) I didn't feel like I did a couple of weeks ago. Anyway, kudos to us to toughing it out.....and coming back stronger.

Meh.....Igor Sijsling had two break points to win the 3rd set 7-5 and he blew them...got it to deuce 6 times and nothing....that was a HUGE 3 game swing potential the wrong way for us. The guy is dominating the match and just cannot close the young Aussie out when it matters.

Lol, now Sijsling down 4-0 in the tiebreak. And yet he has been all over Kokkinakis' serve all day....the heat may be getting to him.

Time for D2D to hit the sack for a few hours.
