Thanks....I understand your opinion, and I appreciate that you seem to care. Here is the only issue I have with it.....of my 18 weeks of betting the NBA I have only had 4 losing weeks. Those weeks were VERY far from the norm, and actually were completely outside of the standard deviation of what should have been happening.

I will say that last year the ten days after the All Star break were crazy....everything we had gleaned from the first half went sideways and then evened out and came around. That WILL happen again here. The 17 days right through the Christmas holidays were very skewed.

I will continue to bet the NBA until such a time as I do not believe that it can be profitable for me (see MLB, the sport that I know the most about in this world).

Fair enough. The only thing I'd ask you do is check and see after you went 14-4, what your money situation looked like. In 2010, I measured my success in Forex on a week to week basis too. For the year, I was 38-12 (took a few weeks off), but pretty much ended up blowing out that account because most of those 12 were brutal and my money management wasn't quite there yet. My record looked sick, but the end result was ugly.

That's all. I admire your ability to plow forward, and hope it does work out well. Somebody has to conquer NBA at some point.

Because Chandler is back tonight. Everyone seems to think this will have a positive effect on scoring, but frankly when a key ball mover like Parsons comes back in for a team that is playing well....I tend to downgrade their scoring for at least one game. This Houston isn't last years Houston.....these guys can actually play D (oh my god, I hate to admit this) and Howard is making a real difference in the middle.

Houston is a notoriously slow starting team and I can see the Celts being close at the half.....in fact Boston's last three games, on the road against VERY good Western opposition kept all of the games to single digit losses. I think they dig in, and while I doubt they have a shot in the game straight up, I think the teams battle a bit more than expected. I am expecting a 101 to 92 sort of game, for a Houston victory.

A few extra games in the NCAA tonight. I think Kansas plays this one super close, plus I get to watch the game....same thing in the Blue Devils game......Virginia won their last matchup and, while they may not win this game I think they keep it very close.Their D should make this a close game no matter what....as for the Texas/WVU game, I see this as being a high energy game after the way these two teams have played the last couple of games.....and I am also fading the public here, who are huge on the under.

I am just wondering because I know you have mentioned that the NHL has been good to you so far this year and that you are not happy with your NBA results. Because I am still more comfortable with my reads in the NBA. I have been looking hard at where I am investing lately and it may change....but for now, they money goes to the games I feel the best about and historically I am a better bettor.....in the NBA.
