Thanks, Broad. I'll miss a lot of you guys. That's the only thing that has me hesitant about just kicking the SBR habit altogether. There are a lot of cats I respect and appreciate here. But Giant is right.

Diminishing returns.
what about basketball?...more possessions and a single play, such as a fluke TD, turnover, etc., does not have as much bearing in the grand scheme of the game as in football.

You should use your cashed out money and turn pro. Play with points for a while, and not feel the burn of variance. It's what you're dealing with right now, variance, it hits everyone hard eventually, and it sucks.
Take care and best of luck.

If you've had a ton of bad beats recently, it seems wrong to pull it out at rock bottom.....You're bound to hit a few in a row soon, and then you can go out on your terms with no regrets

Maybe sometime down the road. I don't even want to look at a game from a betting perspective right now, so I really have no interest in betting points. This week has soured me past the point of no return. I had actually considered cashing out about a month ago, but as it stands, I'm doing so over $1,000 lighter in the wallet than I would have been had I pulled the trigger when I first wanted to (after baseball).
I just don't have the time, patience or passion for this right now. It is what it is.

Just take a break coin,
When I'm running bad I don't bet for a week sometimes.
Breaks are needed in this racket.

Probably bet a live line on GA to win right before Auburn caught the miracle pass. He could have bet a -5000 line or something.

Thanks, billy. Time to quit while I'm still in the black. Like I said earlier, I've lost about 50 units -- or for me, $1,000 -- in the last week or so. Absolutely brutal. I've been ignoring these signs for too long though; was feeling this way even when the going was good. Just burned out.

On the contrary: I have to prove to myself I possess the discipline to quit.
A "vagina" keeps going until it's ultimately all gone.

You're not beat until you have nothing left to bet. If I have a bullet left I'm going to shoot it before I surrender.
The best runs I've ever gone on are when I lost all hope and was expecting to go busto..just sayin. If it makes you feel any better I was on Georgia too, just not enough to crush me. GL

place 1-2 bets a day. that's all that's necessary to feel the rush. to make some coin. and to enjoy the night game(s). i know you were trained at the lakerman gambling institution, but it's time to abandoned the principles preached by the almighty one. you're burned out because your watching line movement all day. your looking at percentages and trying to figure out what vegas is thinking.
there's no conspiracy.
there's no storm coming.
time to change strategy - others are more effective, take less time. even build a model if you want. once you're done with that you're betting auto plays.
you will rag me but deep inside you know i'm right

Had UGA +3. Left my play thinking I'm a winner then my phone says otherwise. Furious for the rest of my night. Not sure why we do this to ourselves No Coin.
Straight bullshit loss but I'm up today so it's ok I guess. Don't be a quitter. Fade the Lions rest of the season.

I will start by saying this, there is no way you will quit.
You're the same guy that said he would place bets at his kids birthday parties in the restroom. A break, that's different.
Georgia shouldn't have covered that game except for the last fukking 4-5% of the game, it was a bad bet. You whine about every last second beat but don't take into account the flow of the game. Auburn dominated the game, UGA +4 was a bad bet.
I'm so fukking tired of seeing you whine about every bad beat and then everytime you get lucky you use the old "Amazing happens". Listen, I had GB in the Seattle/GB "Hail Mary" last year in Seattle for what came out to be a 10u play (max play). GB Won the game, was up the entire 4th and got fukked by a referee, that's the worst way to lose. Not some fukking lucky bounce off a DB's helmet, happens once a game.
You won't be done. You said it yourself you spend work time analyzing lines and it is a hobby, not a job. Who the fuk are you kidding? 'Cold Turkey'. You can take your money out and cancel the request in the morning, or reload.
Stop fukking whining. Take a break, relax and come back at it or keep plugging away.
I set the line here at 3 weeks of No Coin's absence.
Next point, why the fuk would you post at SBR if you admittedly want to not bet, not look at lines, and not think about gambling? Are you that compelled with this place where you've said 90% of the posters are horse shit?
You contradict yourself a lot, this will just be another contradiction.
Best of luck on your endeavors, however. Maybe you will have some family time now.

Auburn -3 was as square as it gets.
They're at home vs the #25 team and they're only laying 3 points?
LOL
