to get the ball in the middle of the field for the FG attempt... they had 18 seconds, they had time

same thing Brady did week 1 vs Bills b4 their game winning fg

refs could have called ASU defender for delay of game penalty for jumping on ball (he acted like the QB just put the ball on the ground and it was a live ball)

by the time Wisky realized (dumbasses) that the time was still running off and they needed to spike the ball, they missed it by a second pretty much

you were about to lose 4k because a PAC 12 team with the other team being out of timeouts... passed on a 2nd down when running twice would have run the clock down to under a minute left. would have made it that much harder and more pressure on Wisky to get down the field for a FG attempt

i still cannot believe they passed on that 2nd down

His knee hit first off, hard to tell though. Even if it didnt it still counts as in the motion of giving himself up so there isn't a question of if it was a fumble or not.

Had Wisky +5.5 but that was complete bullshit. The ref didn't even try to recover the ball and set it. All these pointless reviews for obvious calls and they couldn't go back and wind the clock and set the ball with 10 seconds left? Joke. ASU played themselves out of the game, like I knew they would.

You know, after watching it a second time, Stave never actually took a knee, spiked the ball or anything else. Should've been called a fumble probably. WTF was he doing? Just incompetence all around.

I dont think I've ever seen the QB just place the ball on the ground without taking a knee in my life and that's a couple decades of watching countless games...not sure where the QB came up with that one...the announcers say he 'gave himself up" but I dont think I've ever heard that rule before where you just "give yourself up" without taking a knee by placing the ball on the ground rather than spiking it. If that is a legit rule (and I have no idea if it is or not) then ASU defender should've been called for delay of game of course for laying on the football and running out the clock.

If its not a legit rule then it was a fumble recovered by ASU...a weird insane type of fumble but still a fumble as the QB was never down and made no attempt to spike the ball
