I am not familiar enough with the contents of any of the religious texts out there to label any of them bullshit but I will say this:

There are so many little packages of religious details out there - thousands and thousands - and they're all different - it is amazing to me that someone can pick one and actually believe they've got the one that is right. I can understand a child doing that but not an adult.


There is only one correct philosophy: agnosticism. The roots of the word agnosticism are "not knowing." Agnosticism is all about the ability to say, "I don't know," when, in fact, you don't.

example - What happens after we die? I don't know.

What created the universe? I don't know.

Agnosticism is about honesty. Honesty is a good thing. Why make stuff up? Just say, I don't know.

Agnosticism is the correct philosophy.

That is my public service announcement.

This story is patently absurd.

So, either it is just a story and was never meant to be true, or the authors of the Bible think that humans are retarded enough to believe this fairy tale.

I'm okay with thinking that the original authors just thought they were writing a story. But, later Bible writers refer to Noah and his ark as an example to be used for later believers to build up their faith. Excuse me, a fairly tale builds up my faith? Come on.
