No jet stream out to Left today, but Wind Going Out To Right today. Throw in shit ass Brett Myers [Overs in 8/11 starts] & Doug Davis and this looks like another shot at going Over. Whaddya think?

Remember last time Davis had a 7.5 total.....only because Pirates couldn't finish. Books assuming Astros will cash in on their bases loaded 0 out opportunities.

I think with Myers on the mound, it's a perfect scenario for runs. Guy has been a HR giving up machine.

My only worry would be that Myers last start was more like his old self [average-above average] so he may build on that a little

Astros bullpen is usually good for some late inning runs though

Already on the other Chicago team going for the sweep.

but of course for SBR points. Will not wager any more real money until football season. Already have it all tied up in Heat series.

5.2 IP, 4 ER & 2 HR last time vs. Arizona. I'll take that to start today's offensive show. Guy has given up 4 ER or more in six of his last seven starts.

Was going to take the over, but Cubs batters career numbers off Myers weren't too good, so went with Houston TT Over 4.5 instead.

I like the over personally but it worries me that Myers career path shows he is better then his numbers this year

It makes me think he is ready to string some good starts together at some point

Davis + the bullpens might be enough anyways

Even though the wind is blowing out, it's not that hot here. Pretty mild day. Ball won't have the lift. These two 'monster" offenses may have shot their respective loads over the last two games. It could easily go Over but the conditions aren't what they have been the last two days.

I played the Cubs straight and -RL

Well last night wasn't really an explosion until the 9th inning. Otherwise, that was a pitcher's duel. Lyles was awesome.

1 inning, 1 HR allowed already by Myers. Too bad there aren't a few more lefties out there today to take advantage of the wind blowing towards RF. Astros don't have left handed hitting for shit outside of Wallace.

Doug davis is 20 pitches into the game, and has failed to reach 90mph on any pitch.
