Ok....I have sat here tonight doing some thinking, and some math. What I am seeing is that I am winning a higher percentage (slightly) on my bigger bets. Some people may tell me that I am running well and that I should not change a thing....BUT.....I am going to try and limit my bets and bet a little more on the ones that are the most solid.

We will see how it goes.....and although it may feel counter-intuitive for me I will do my best to keep the profits rolling in.

Hey Dollars how do you feel about the Celtics covering +8?

I like those a lot at first glance; but they seem like the square bet. Sharper bet would be Nugs.

I disagree about the Lakers, but that's what this is all about. I have watched almost every Lakers game this year, and the last few games they have really steeled themselves. I truly believe they will make the playoffs, and that they will play .750 ball the rest of the way. If Dwight Howard can resist foul trouble (and I believe he will in this matchup) the Lakers will cover. At +7.5 I just don't see them losing.....and I believe they win here SU 40% of the time, so it EASILY makes a small ML bet worth it at +280 (I usually go at half of my ATS bet for a dog on the ML).

I think the the o/u in this game is the interesting bet. I got in this am at 217 with the OVER, but since then the line has moved to 218.5....which, while it still may win, just doesn't feel nearly as peachy as 217. The Nuggets are going to test the Lakers ability to get up and down the floor, hoping to wear them out....the Lakers, with their new found resolve will be up to the challenge and their bench will be a large part of it. Meeks, Blake and Jamison will be a big part of this game.

As for the Celts at +8.....I think it is a solid bet. You will see I have them in my teaser at +12, and I am thinking they come in here 90% of the time (at +12). Celts +8 is +EV imo, but there are other games I like better.

I wish the Raptors hadn't moved so damn much....they started at 4 this am and are up to -5.5.....at 3 they would have been a great pick. I think they win here 75-80% of the time SU, BUT I believe that those points are going to be very important. Stay away from the Raps -5.5.

Wow....if anyone is watching the Raptors/Wizards game you will know what I am talking about here....the o/u on this game was 195.5 and I felt great about the over.....this may be the sloppiest baskerball I have ever seen, and it doesn't look like the game will go over 120 at this pace.

This is how I expected the teams to all come out of the all-star break....instead it was like they went to sleep 1 week after I thought they would...

EDIT: 16 turnovers and 33% shooting through the first 15 minutes........ugh!!!
