Looks like I am going to dump back $420 on the GS/Utah game. Apparently Utah decided that they don't want to/need to play defense against Golden State. Up 11 in the 4th and they are still shooting 5-7 seconds into each possession....either they are THAT confident that they are the better shooting/scoring team, or (and this is my guess) the players are not bothering to listen to their coaches.....

Entertaining? Yes....but I am going to have to run the board on the rest of my games just to make up for this one....again, very porr half time decision to lay another $220.....bleah.

Well......if nothing else, tonight was VERY humbling. In my 50 or so days since I have started I haven't had one like it. I chased a few losses, made bad in-game decisions....and had a poor night in general. The thing that does hurt is that I went 5-2 ATS on my first ticket AND cashed my first ever teaser played.

All in all:

9-10

For a gruesome - $447.50

Tough night....a $490 swing when the Spurs couldn't hold their 13 point lead with 2.5 minutes to go.....an OT loss in Nashville....the LA Kings score with a minute left.....but my biggest issue was that I watched an early game in the NBA. In that game nobody could get things straight and I made a decision to add a bunch of money on the UNDERS....coming off of the All Star Weekend I really thought it was a good decision....turns out I went 1-5 on my NBA totals where I am usually pretty solid.

Yes...to all of you that will yell at me and say that 19 tickets in any one night is crazy......I agree, so save it.

I will be honest....you mnay get more 5-0 nights out of me, but if you want reliable I think that El Nino is proving to be exactly that. I find it funny.....I know the NHL Like the back of my hand but it is the only sport that I have never handicapped until now....I have always just cheered for my team.

I think I am learning....but a 5-0 night can have that effect on somebody I am sure. It all boils down to this....I wouldn't tail my NHL picks if I weren't me. My NBA picks on the other hand....well, they come a lot easier and with less ups and downs.
