Thanks....I do welcome all questions and people asking for advice. Chances are 90% that it will be no additional work as I usually have the game capped, but have just labelled it as a NO PLAY. Feel free to ask away or PM me for anything you want to keep off of the board.

really glad i decided to check out your thread D2D...lots hi-value bullets being forged and applied in your carpet-bombing approach...

see your using 5dimes (what I call "dimey") for most of your action...good policy...one of the "holy trinity" of books IMO...and the only one i'd use if i were a US-er

But if you haven't already, think about opening an ac with matchbook ("matchy")...takes a while to get used to, but it's the "Costco" of books...bargain-basement prices...usually the best, by a tick or two among the line-shopping "holy trinity" of dimey/pinny/matchy

and if u don't already, open an account with the best-of-the-best e-wallet=Skrill (aka. Moneybookers) cuz u can zap funds into and out of pinny/matchy at ZERO cost in minutes literally (dimey--being a us-focusing book--more of a book with which you consider moving funds around at most "once a month"...unless u wanna pay larcenous $15-per-transaction fees...but they do have one freebie every 30 days, and it works smoothly with Skrill as well)

In appreciation, I thought i'd pass on the value-plays of adding Matchy and Skrill to your stable.

Thanks for the advice. I do use Skrill and will consider another book. I haven't made a withdrawal from 5dimes yet.....building my roll to start increasing my betting units right now.

As I have mentioned before, the 'carpet-bombing' technique helps me because it takes the variance down to an acceptable level. One bet a day and you could go 1-8 over 9 days....in my approach i hit a 1-8 day and it doesn't even knock me off stride (though you will see I have only one bad day in 29 so far, 2-8).

Again, I have so much to learn about this it is crazy....but I have convinced myself that I will NEVER start to overthink matchups. IMO that's what so many people do....they stare at a game until they convince themselves of the opposite of what a glace told them....and they lose.

EDIT: I was just asked for some analysis....it is as easy as this (beyond all the numbers). This is a revenge game, last year X took it to Butler. It is in Butler. Butler is a great home team. Butler is the better team overall, offense, defence, closing out......Butler won't mind running up the score. I am seeing at 12+ point victory here, giving this pick tons of ++ EV

Ok.....I am going to add something to my "DO NOT BET' list....I have been getting killed lately with crappy NHL teams at home.....I have lost 4 consecutive games on the Columbus Blue Jackets at home (betting against them). Before this stretch they had won 5 games out of 21 overall...lol.

It is happening all over the board....I am going to cut that down and focus on small road dogs, which is where I seem to be best in puck.

Also, the Islanders at home have beaten me up.....

Thanks Alamo. You won't see a ton of tennis picks from me, only in the opening rounds of large tournaments. There I find a lot of value in dogs....and sometimes I think there is a fave or two where I will lay pretty big odds because I am positive they won't lose....

Ok, very tough loss for us there....and VERY tough loss for me on my 2nd half play. Here's what I do not understand....maybe somebody can....

Last week, in a game, down 12 points with .3 seconds to go a kid took a foul and the other team busted my win.....in this game, with 6 seconds left and needing a half a point....Xavier doesn't foul....and they were only down 5. Now we know they weren't coming back....but it is funny that it seems to always happen the other way....I was sure I was good when they missed that 3....and nothing.

OK, chins up....tough loss but let's make it a break even day. I just wished I had missed my half time play...lol....half point losses are killers.
