OK.....BEFORE you all blow your brains out about the MIA ML pick, hear me out. Miami needs to win 7 out of 9 to make this a +EV choice.....you you believe they go 3-6 or worse? Not me. I am thinking 8 for 9 with possibility of sweeping. Don't let recent games sway your decision here. This pick MAY not win, but if it doesn't I believe I am still on the good side here.

As for the UNLV game that I have teased.....they will win that game by 5+ points.....book it.

EDIT: When it comes to the Lakers pick everything screams to bet the other way.....public team, home record/away record, recent history....this is a gut pick....the Lakers are looking for a 6 seed or better and will get it. I said 3 weeks ago, before this run, that they would play .750 ball the rest of the way....and I cannot jump ship here.

I must take national pride into account more in the future. Italy cares more than these other teams....it just means more to them. PR is playing like they have been out partying their asses off....this should not even be close.....very disappointing....the WBC started out so well for me, and has regressed these last three days in a major way.

Ummm.....I just did my record and it didn't match up with 5dimes.....so I go and investigate.....interesting fact for you:

Washington was up 19 in the 2nd half......they got to 62 points with 11:34 left....and scored two points right at the end to win it by 2....

I cannot imagine point shaving happening in anyone's tournament.....but I am sorry, this is too hard to believe. 2 points in 11:34?

I am NOT a conspiracy theorist, but this is just insane.....I had it booked as a win and didn't even think to look back. The funny thing is if you read the play by play they kept 'turning over' the ball......and they jacked up a few threes, but only attempted one 2 point shot is 11:34......

I am sorry, I didn't cry when the teams scored 24 in the last minute in Memphis the other day.....but this one is ridiculous.

Yeah.....I still don't know what to say about this....I am obviously happy for you, but this is the first time in years I have had questions....2 points in 11:34, no fouls on either side in what should be a HUGELY emotional game.....just doesn't sit right with me.

It doesn't help that iot was a .5 point loss....again.

We will get through this little bump in the road.....and continue the slow but BUMPY ride.

What books are you at? I don't know if it works with your schedule, but I try and stay up until I get some lines, usually around midnight. Especially in college Bball, you can get a point or two if you hit it early. Or like the ATL hawks today, you let the public bet lakers, lakers, and more lakers, then get a better number on ATL as close to tip as possible.
