5,000 is worth playing for... However, I don't think because you finished in top 50 of the 200 you're a stud poker player.

I could be wrong but I would say it is because you had the time and discipline to play the daily tournaments, not because you were a top player.

A lot of guys probably play at casinos since US players are basically fked to play online, I for one, used to play pokerstars religiously and made a good chunk of change.

But, I would say the style of these players are not +EV yet I see them in top 50 all year. However, good lck to all

Yes I play sometimes when Im bored but not worth it to play all year just to get in another tourney for 5000. As I type this Im playing 2/5 with 1800 infront of me and that doesnt take nearly half a year or whatever it takes to make.

You are unsurprisingly missing the point. Nobody made any claims to be a good poker player. And nobody cares weather or not you are one. Play SBR poker if you want, don't play if you don't find it enjoyable. I stink at tournament poker and only played 3ish days a week during the qualifying and still made it. So obviously I'm not saying I'm any good nor is anyone else around here. And I'm not in this to "get anything out of it". I don't care about SBR points or badges or any of that. Think I've made that clear here many times.

it was about 3 months, and for 30th place i actually got 3800 points along the way. about $200, nothing to write home about, but nothing to sneeze at either for something i was having fun doing every morning.

and yes, i suck and i'm the first to admit it. 1/2 my cashes were in the last 3 weeks when i played like a nit to get a bunch of cashes and sneak into the top 50.

i think i folded pocket jacks preflop to no raises about 20 times

Cute, you got a girlfriend. Cute, your hometown team made the World Series. I played some tournaments, got 1600+ pts, I'm in a satty tonight, I'll play it. Why not? Anyway, you may wanna hammer +655 odds on me to advance tonight. I got about 1600 points, 50% of the top 50 by playing about 33% of the tournaments, I will be in attendance tonight, idk if we will get 40 entries, but I'm a front runner and will try to disappoint

Because of the mix it is any body's game, all the players that had made the cut have a game plan, structure, and passion for the game.
From No1here with his long trail of experience to JakMatz amazing first place in the season and the steady performance of biteme and Arunash it will be great event. We still missing good players like Beerdog99 K13( bad luck) Boredanz, Roxxy , just to mention some.
In my opinion the ones to make this tournament for the 2nd time around are the real deal!!!!!!!!!!
