The guy admitted to being a hypocrite on national tv, and no one in the media picked up on this?

No one gives a shit because the only people who think this matters are left-leaning voters and dumbasses.

Washington has pretty much always been a "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" town when it comes to spending. Which is why the bigger national story wasn't Ryan asking for stimulus money, but so many state Governors banding together to refuse the Obamacare money.

Once the legislation passes to spend money, there's no point in not taking it. It'd be like a group of college roommates getting together and voting to spend their collective money on pizza and then one guy decides, despite being forced to chip in $5.00 to the delivery guy, to go and get some Wendy's.

Just because you lose a debate on the floor of Congress about what to eat for dinner doesn't mean you have to starve just because you didn't like the menu that got picked.

Ryan isn't a hypocrite until he publicly argues in the future that stimulus type packages help save the economy.

What I saw last night was one guy acting like a complete tool. Flopping around, and laughing for no reason. The other was holding himself with great respect. If i had to pick who I wanted as President(since the main job of a VP is to be on call in case needed), 100 times out of 100 I pick Ryan.

If you would rather have the guy "holding himself with great respect" while spouting the lies, than the guy "acting like a complete tool" calling him out on them .. then you are part of the problem ...

So go fukk yourself and get the facts straight before running your goddam mouth.

The bigger story from the debate is Biden stating they didn't ask for more security in Libya. They clearly did. This does not look good at all for the Obama Administration's ability to communicate with our intelligence services or handle defense/security issues. Comes off like a QB blaming the o-line for throwing interceptions.

That all being said, no one can argue Ryan won the debate. Biden was strong/energetic and had an answer for everything (whether accurate or not). Ryan didn't speak up for himself enough when Biden retorted and missed a couple big opportunities to put Biden in his place. Most notably, that Biden also voted for the war in Iraq.

In the end both candidates did what they needed to do. If it hadn't been for Biden acting like such a jackass throughout the debate then the story today would be that Ryan was clearly outclassed by a more experienced politician. Biden let his emotions get the best of him while Ryan kept his cool. Only reason it was a draw.
