WOW!!!

Ok... its bad for NFL regardless what side you had. But after watching several times did anyone catch what most likely seemed to happen?

There were two refs that came in. The black one had the better angle and looked over at the white ref. He whispered something to him right before he raised his arms UP to make a "touchback" call confirming the interception. The old white guy probably couldnt hear and misred lips and thought he said "touchdown". Then there was slight delay with the white guy intently letting the black ref make the first move.... BUT THEN... He assumed as he saw his black ref start to raise his hands up.... he assumed with the crowd cheering he was making the touchdown signal. But he wasn't, right there they completely screwed this call up and the black ref knew it. Maybe honest mistake on a tough call... Maybe.

But usually there is control kept as the pile is uncovered and each of the teams have a responsibility to try and keep possession in the pile to allow a definitive call be made... or evidence be gathered for replay in case they missed call. They completely lost control not giving replay or the officials the ability to pull apart the pile and sort things out better.

Ultimately replay officials were cowards and there was a cover up from that moment on instead of doing the very tough but right thing which was to reverse call. I am not exactly sure if any human being would not be exposed to making this mistake... but what I do know is crews and experienced officials that work together develop communication and patience for these situations to not happen.

Missed call ok, everything else absolutely a joke, nfl should be embarrasssed and held responsible for situation in the minds of everyone for what it is worth.

Thoughts ? Anyone else see it this way?

didnt see 1 person on the pack in here crying about injustice when gb was given 1st down after 1st down on phantom calls, then 1 little td/int at end of gm and everyone throws a fit..no offense but if you were on pack and not outraged at the calls going against sea then i dont have much sympathy at the end, even tho it didnt matter a ton to me, had a little on sea ml but more on sea and under teased so i was walking away up either way...i guess think what yo want but if you were gonna be happy cashing a pack ticket than you sir are a hypocrite..

I was praying for a Dennis Green type press conference but only about ten times worse. Very disappointed as well. As a head coach on the wrong side of this bs, how can you not just flip your lid. Message needed to be send and this was the time.
