There's no bigger Peyton fan than me, but I don't understand why everyone is ripping on PWAD.

Ok, Peyton wasn't bottom 5 this week, but HE WAS BAAAAAD.

There were HUGE warning signs tonights game, he was so bad that I'm going to rescind my lock that he'll win at least 8 games this season.

1. His velocity is way down. Scary down. If he's like this every other game, that means Broncos will lose every other game, guaranteed.
2. They've got no running game to fall back on. McGhegee played awesome tonight, but his awesome isn't going to win games.
3. He is not in sync with his targets.
4. He is sloppy. The announcers were making excuses for him, but HE FUKKING TRIPPED 1Q. I mean, that's just sloppy, it's so un-Peyton-like, my head is reeling. My only excuse is he's so out of sync with his offense, that it confuses him.

2H, the refs were giving him all the chances to come back and at least make it a close game. I knew this would happen, as Peyton is the face of the franchise. But with the Broncos anemic, semi-intelligent defense and Peyton's sloppiness and bad passing game, I'm really concerned about this Broncos team.

Bronco fans, buckle up, it's going to be a rough year.

His velocity is definitely down, and he has definitely thrown his fair share of "wobbly balls" so far. But his smarts and accuracy will still make him a top 12 QB. His velocity is way down, and it showed on all of those picks. I know Houston's defense is good, but I have full confidence in Peyton next week.
