ok so Alex Smith heres a clue....when you need 13 yards on 3rd down, dont check it down short of the 1st down marker when there are 2 defenders right there to make the tackle...he had tons of time and couldn't find anyone downfield.... ridiculous.

And seriously can the 49ers do a better job calling plays. Trick plays are great when your able to execute them, clearly Alex Smith has no depth perception and ability to catch the ball, that was a good throw by Gore, but Smith did a terrible job judging the distance..

he just cant catch. if he had terrible depth perception all his passes would be long or under thrown.

Yeah I don't get it either....I know Alex Smith was hot early but they're a running team and Harbaugh isn't sticking with it enough. The Saints are putting 9 guys in the box but I bet SF is still getting 5 yds/rush

I think it was a pass play. Smith meant to throw it downfield, like a flea-flicker play

Harbaugh doesn't seem to have any hot routes for his receivers against the blitz either? Vernon Davis could just rub off a blitzer and go out in the flat and run for 70 yds on one of those all out blitzes.
