i jumped on the bears -3 +105 when the line was released, feeling good about it now but there's still a long way to go.

John, you are my favorite poster on this website. Your Cincinnati pick came through for me today. I would have never picked that game without your analysis. I went with Philadelphia though...just had a gut feeling in that one. Also, took Green Bay in the first half to cover -7. I was happy to win $40 today. I started September at $250, and I'm up to $620 now...and I've used much of your info to help me build up my pot. Thanks and keep up the great work!

Chucky, if that is true, I'll try to follow that advice in the future.

Honestly, I just take a lot of the info I find on this site with a grain of salt. But I do like good analysis. I don't always run with it, but it's better than somebody just telling me something is a lock, without much to back it up. That is why I like John's analysis, and some others on here.

I agree, that would be an incredible event. I think he probably had it connected with another separate bet tied to another game(s) perhaps.

My work, stats, sim projections all called for Minny so it was the 'correct' play, but how can you/we back what who is truly the most inaccurate short pass thrower in football in McNabb. His heart is just not into any longer. he threw balls at the feet of WR on third downs and just ran off the field. I think you can learn a lot about the chemistry of a team after the play is over by watching what the individual players do and how they respond. Near the end of the second half, Minny has a chance to get it to 23-10, and a false start eliminates that and then longwell shanks a kick.

It seems to me that when a team misses a field goal the chances of the other team scoring in their next possession go up markedly. Anyone agree with that? I believe it is the letdown of a drive going unrewarded and the defense having to go out yet again and defend.

Home field is huge too. Bears got every break. In retrospect, I should've passed on this game, I was up on the day. Ponder impressed me though. Do you think he will start going forward?

John been lurking for a while. First time trying to cap football and its def had it ups and downs. I created a sim as well and MIN was the pick in mine as well. I am starting to learn to use the SIM as a guide and then you have to look into other variables (Injuries etc.) My losses on my sim came from CAR, IND, HOU, NEP, NOS, MIN. Before the games i felt that HOU and MIN def would be losses. HOU with injuries and BALT coming off the bye. MIN was going against CHI who would want to rebound hard after that loss to DET. CAR, IND both had chances even at the end to cover but just fell short. Pats was a no play for me since my sim had them only has a 7 pt fav. and NOS was just a loss. Im starting to analyze the data more and hoping i can find something that will help with being on the right side of things. Thanks and keep up the good work

Hey John, I heard from a fellow sports better that there was a great play on Miami tonight based on a statistic about playing a team coming off of a bye week when they are an underdog of 6 or more points. He said the statistic was something like 26-3 in the 10-15 years. Know anything about it?

John I've made lots of money going by body language mostly on halftime bets in college basketball.

CLE just came of a Bye Week as a 7 pt dog, and lost by exactly 7. What would have sucked was if you got them in them towards the end of the week when they dropped down to +6.5.

What do you guys think about the game going UNDER 41 with NYJ vs MIA?
The total has gone OVER 6 out of the last 4 games when these 2 met. MIA is off a bye and should be fresh on both sides of the ball. The Jets are shakey offensively, and they allow 25 ppg with MIA allowing 26 ppg. I'm kinda confused only because to me its week 6 and alot of the games on sunday did produce an UNDER game, compared to the previous week. Now Im seeing that the teams are tightening up on their defense. With 5 weeks of film to study from they should be able to make it happen defensively, right? What do you guys think?

John, I took cincy and they won though they really should not have....I am taking the Jets tonight, its a home game and Miami is brutal who knows who is even playing qb for them....I think Ryan is gonnna have them fired up tonight and the Jets D that has been weaker this year but still is strong will look more like the old jets D vs a weak team with not great offensive capabilities, good recievers but the corners will shut them down. I am thinking about a 27-10 final

It was on 5Dimes and it appeared to go thru. When I looked at it a little later it was cancelled, so you are correct it wasnt allowed. I ended up just doing 2 bet's. Still learning from you guy's.....spike

No. I can't say I have. see if you can get the specifics.

I like the 'under' tonight for a 5* amount.. I also like teasing the DOLPHINS and the 'UNDER' even a small bet 1* amount using the money line (Dolphins) and the 'under. nothing real strong with these combination bets, but still ones worth making in my opinion.

Dolphins/under is great play tn. I heard of a trend: Winless teams coming off a bye as a underdog vs a winning team 22-3 ATS. Something like that. 2 teams favored that trend tonights MIA and ST.Louis, which already lost. SO im all over MIA tn. The under looks like easy money too for the sake of both sucky qbs, ground and pound run games, and somewhat good defenses if u dont include this year, LMAO.

Its something like, bet any team that is winless and coming off of a bye week getting 6 or more points. A buddy told me about it. Thats about as specific as i can get. I bet it +7 anyways. Plus Miami is always pretty solid against the jets.
