I placed this bet at 10:48 this morning. Its at -6.5 right now at my book and I'm guessing most books as well.

I was also lean Under 47. I don't Forte will have an incredible game like did last week. Nick Fairley is making his NFL debut tonight along side Vaden Bosch and Suh. Only thing that would worry me is the explosive offense from the Lions. I don't know who is going to contain Megatron. Although I think it'll stay Under 47, I see it coming close to the 47 so that's whats keeping me away.

Question D3. You say "only Tuesday". Do you ever bet the opening lines? Tuesday is usually wayyyy late in terms of finding easy line value.

I rarely bet the opening line unless I really like something and think the line will move quickly not in my favor. I like to do my research on my plays and read up about injuries, match-ups and watch the line movement during the week. Usually wait until later on in the week to lock in my plays.

Why are the Lions only -4 at home to the Niners? I'm guessing because San Fran is 2-0 on the road this year and they are "for real".

The line is sketchy but I'm considering loading up on this one.

I have to agree with you the NFL so far has been tough as hell and anyone with profit thus far I give mad props for that. The Jets just seem so damn easy though. With Chad Henne behind center for the Fins I though this line would be roughly around 6-7 points. Now with Matt Moore leading the offense this could only make them better. Anyways, I'll worry about that game come Monday and might even pass on it completely.

The Redskins team that got beaten up last year isn't the same as this years. Sure there are a ton of returning players but there are a fair share of new players as well who make this team that much better than last years. Kerrigan, Bowen and Cofield improved the Skins' defense this off-season. The Skins' rushing game is ranked 8th and its been consistent throughout their first 4 games this year. The Eagles' defense was built from the outside in. Meaning they put more interest into their secondary (which still looks suspect) and not enough interest in their front 7. The Eagles' rush defense is ranked 28th in the NFL and they'll have their hands full trying to stop Torrain and the Skins' offense. I get it that its basically a must win game for the Eagles but the Skins won't just roll over and let the Eagles walk right through them, especially at home.

Yeah, hopefully the giant defense will give away a TD this game to, the gamewinning last week occured when the secondary froze, because they believed the flag that were tossed was for enfraction, hence the play went on and the seahawks scored the easiest 7 points in there franchise history
