Play #41: Buffalo Bills -5.5 -103 ($412 to win $400)

My favorite play of the week hands down. There's no way I can see the Redskins winning this game straight up. Game being played in Toronto its on a mutual field so there's no home field advantage. A very good Bills team coming off the bye is at least 6 points better than a banged up Skins team. I'm taking the Bills to cover.

Play #42: New England Patriots -3 +115 ($300 to win $345)

Pats coming off the bye Bellichick will have his team well prepared as always. Brady has a career 6-1 record against the Steelers. Brady to Welker has been unstoppable this year and it'll only get worse for their opponents. I know the Pats defense ranks dead last against the pass but and the Steelers deep threat worries me a bit but like I said Bellichick will have the defense ready. They've had an entire week to prepare for this game, just saying...

Play #43: Baltimore Ravens -12.5 -102 ($306 to win $300)

I feel bad for the Cardinals this week because after last week's performance from the Ravens I expect them to put a beat down on the 1-5 Cards. They'll give Ray Rice more than 8 rushing attempts and Flacco needs to be better. Jim Harbaugh will have his troops ready because they need to be better.

I got my eye on the Seahawks ML as well but I'm going to wait until closer to game time to try and get a better line. The ML is currently +118 at my book but I expect the public to pound the the Bengals. The Seahawks are a completely different team when they play at home. Also, Cedric Benson is suspended for this game and that's a huge loss for the Bengals running game. This will be a test of the Bengals to win games that they are supposed too. The Bengals are still a young team and their defense has been playing well but I just can't back them yet until they prove to me that they'll win games that they're supposed to win. Until then I will back the Seahawks at home because like I mentioned they are a much better team as supposed to when they play on the road.

Play #44: Indianapolis Colts +9 -111 ($333 to win $300)

Both teams were blown out last week, but only one really should of been. There was no reason for the Titans to be blown out 41-7 to Houston. The Titans were even favored in that game by 3 and they didn't show up to play one bit. On the other hand no one in their right mind would of said the Colts had a chance to play with the big boys in New Orleans. The Colts were underdogs by 13.5 points. I'm not trying to say it was acceptable for them to lose 62-7 but I knew they wouldn't be able to cover the 13.5 points. With that being said, I think the Colts realize the opportunity they have to get their first win tomorrow. I was so tempted to take the Colts ML because I know each and every single person in that Colts organization know they have a chance to win tomorrow in Tennessee. The Titans are not a good football team. Chris Johnson has flopped for the first 7 weeks of this season. Although the Colts defense sucks and CJ has every chance to have his breakout game, I'm betting against him doing so. Colts compete tomorrow and keep it close if not win straight up. 9 points is way to many points for the Titans to be favored over anyone right now.

the only game i hope doesnt mess you over is the cardys and ill tell you why... 12.5 is too many points to lay on a team that relies so heavily on their defense scoring points...


baltimore is 19th in the nfl is rush, 17th in pass, and 20th in yards. so where are the points coming from...

baltimore caught pittsburgh napping in week 1 (a team that is only now realising their potential), beat up on a rams team that is just awful, got smacked by tennessee, lost to the jags, and only beat the jets because they scored 3 touchdowns on defense and mark sanchez spoon fed them the game.

this team is SO REDICULOUSLY overrated and has trouble winning games against teams that are better on run defense...



enter arizona.. a team that has horribly underperformed but is still amongst the top 10 in the nfl in their air attack.. and has a 7th ranked rush defense. nobody has really run well on arizona , its really been a story of turnovers and poor red zone play...


arizona has the edge in the air and their rush defense wont allow rice to go crazy. so if arizona can win the turnover battle they may even win SU. its a classic case of public perception of a team driving the line to double digits. arizona isnt anywhere near AS terrible as miami, indy, st louis, etc.


never lay double digits on a team that has a run first mentality and relies on turnovers by their d against a team that has a decent rush defense and is hungry for a win.

You're totally right about never laying double digit spreads on a run first mentality defense but I think you're giving the Cards rush D a little to much credit. The difference with the Cards playing at home or on the road is like night and day. The Cards have given up 155.3 yards/game on the road. With Joey Porter listed as questionable with a knee injury, the heart and soul of their defense takes a blow. This Cards team is just not the same on the road as they are at home.

On the other hand this Ravens team thrives off playing at home. They're 3-0 ATS, they average 32 points a game on offense, they've given up an average of just 12.7 points a game on defense (against Pittsburgh, Jets and Houston) all playoff bound teams. The same could be said about the Ravens and that they really come to play when its a home game. Ray Lewis and company they do whatever it takes to perfect their home turf. After last week's shit show in Jacksonville it wasn't the defenses fault. I expect the Ravens to absolutely they a beat down on the Cards. If this game were to be played in Arizona it might be a totally different story. But home field advantage makes the difference in this one.

Thanks guys. I really don't think my picks are all that bad. I'm doing my research on each and every single one of them the same way I've always had but I'm just not getting the same type of success. I'll keep posting and offering my insight for whoever cares. But I wouldn't recommend to follow any of my plays as you can see.
