Hey I just sent my bookie that bet, and he confirmed it.

Obviously he wouldn't allow the Bengals +3 bet.

I bet on the Rams beating San Diego last week (ML). They did.

If I was a bookie and someone sent me

    SD -300
    SD -9

last week. I would allow it. I wouldn't book it though. And I wouldn't allow any action on the dog.

Guess what, I would've made a lot more profit using this strategy.

Now I'm not an experienced gambler, I win through sports expertise and mathematical intuition. So I don't know exactly how things work. But thats the bet I sent and it got confirmed.

But bookies also have their leans and can gamble with your action and make more money for themselves.

For example, if some guy who ALWAYS loses is giving me action, I don't care what he gives me, as long as it is accurate, I will confirm yet not book his action and make more money.

    Edit:

Yeah just heard from my bookie, he said he overlooked it (it was late at night) and is voiding that parlay.

    Oh well.

Above is his pick that he says he put in with his bookie. I am trying to explain to him that NO bookie... NONE would take that bet. You can't parlay a ML and the spread in the same game lol. You could take the Bengals in that game and freeroll on 9units.

Can someone smart please explain this too him, its just funny how he thinks he can do it.
I don't see why a bookie wouldn't take it. What if they have a lot of people that are on the Bengals that week? All of those losses would more than make up for what he would pay out here. As long as the bookie doesn't allow SSK to bet on the Bengals here, I could see a bookie taking a correlated parlay. As long as they think they will make a profit overall, why not?

Current ML for Bengals (on 5Dimes) is -190, so it appears the bookie has more bets on the Bengals and is encouraging more on the Falcons, no?

You are obviously looking at it incorrectly, the bet would pay 14units, not 9, 9 is how much he would win. I don't feel like explaining this again but if you took the bengals +3 also for 5.5u to win 5 you are freerolling for 8.5 units.

Anyway, the argument is over, and SSKs bookie overlooked the bet and accidently booked it.
