As a skins fan, this trade has me excited for this upcoming season (which I thought was going to be a below 500 season up until the mcnabb trade). I do not know if we can pull out a nfc championship, but they are already making moves to keep donovan here for a while, so perhaps in our near future an nfc championship looms...

I'm not sure they need to trade up to have a shot at Mays. He's been projected down in their area of the 1st round. I think they could definitely use a young safety. He's an interesting prospect. People either love or hate him.

Vick will stay put as the backup QB. He will play more wildcat, Donovan said the wildcat disrupted his rythm last yar so they did not use it that much. Dont think it will bother Kolb as much

Wildcat is just another way of saying my QB sucks and I don't trust him to manage the game

If they do run the wildcat more under Kolb, I'm sure the media will spin it as "they don't trust him", but it's probably more that he's a team player who doesn't care how they score.

its not even the wildcat when vick is in, its just a QB option they are running
it doesnt make any sense to take ur starting QB out so vick can run the ball for 3 yards or hand the ball off

McNabb is not underrated at all. When healthy , hes an accurate passer who is a real threat to scramble.
Look at what he is continually done with all wrs hes had at is disposal. hes made them stars, not the other way around

Redskins have to protect him and generate a running game. The Oline was terrible last year, and unless it improves, McNabb will be slaughtered.

I'm bumping this thread because paulypoker has fallen off the face of the map. I still think the redskins have gotten a lot of breaks and will fall apart (5-1 Jim Zorn Redskins anyone?), but I don't like getting freerolled. If Pauly does not return and start posting within two weeks, our bet is void, because he could easily have another account he would stick with if he loses (since he's not an SBR PRO). Whether the Redskins end up coming through or not, if he will not pay me in the event he wins, the bet is off.
