I love the move for the Redskins, great fit. They got McNabb for a reasonable and fair price.

The real losers in this trade are the Raiders, go figure. They should've easily been able to match this offer.

Really? I think his performances against Dallas in the last week of the regular season and in the playoffs pretty much helped seal this deal. Not to say it was all his fault, coaching always plays a role with McNabb and Philly ... but I think their failure at the end of the year made this an easier decision than say if McNabb had played well and got them to the NFC Championship Game. This is absolutely nothing to do with sales. Philly sells out games. It's simply time to change the guard and give Kolb his shot. I don't understand why people are surprised about this move or think it's anything more than giving the "heir apparent" his chance before they have to decide on Kolb's future.

McNabb was a very good QB earlier in his career when he was a running and passing threat. Opposing Defenses had to take a player and spy Mcnabb was like playing against 10 defenders. Over the last couple years Mcnabb stopped running and there was no longer even a threat to run. As a pocket QB he is just average to slightly above average. Eagles drafted Kolb with a high pick and spent the last few years developing him. He started 2 games and played very well (300 yards passing 2 TDs both games). It is just time to make the transition. The Eagles also shed 12 million in salary and get a good pick in a deep draft. As far as the Skins - Campbell was just horrible given plenty of time to develop it never happened so maybe a good move on their part also. They will try to sign him to an extension.
