I know they laid an awful egg in the meadowlands but this team is better at every phase of the game than the Titans. Tenn is giving up 135 Yards rushing per game! Bell is going to Gash this team and the Time of poss for big ben and crew should be super lopsided. I just do not see how Tenn keeps up here, they are scoring 17 points per game.

Just so you know Smitty, I think that 17 pts per game is MORE than Pitt is averaging on the "road".. Pitt is def a diff team on the road without question man. With Palamalalalaoo gone & the other defensive stud cpt, their defense has definitely not looked the same since they both were out with injuries. Both out tonight again, hmmm... Also, IF and I mean "if" Tenn can play the way they did the first half last week, they might easily win outright. Metten looked so good the first half and their defense was on fire. You have got to see this from another angle I think as well. This "IS" Tenn's Super Bowl I think. They are at home, on primetime Monday NIGHT, playing the Steelers, getting a TD or more??? I honestly think the GOOD Pitt team has to show up tonight or things won't go well for Pitt backers. A BIGGER also is that IF Pitt covers tonight, Vegas will get completely rolled this weekend & as we all know, Vegas doesn't like to lose. DMoney, thanks for checking in buddy. You make some great points especially about the Jeckyl and Hyde nature of the Steelers, the good team needs to show up tonight and that in and of itself is no sure thing. Mettenberger showed us something for sure but at the end of the day this is a Pitt team coming off an embarrassing loss in NY after smashing the Ravens and Colts, two decent teams. That D line in NY ate up the Steelers O line and effectively shut down the run game. I think we see the Steelers come out slow handing the ball off to Bell to open up the play action later in the game. I think Tenn has a decent shot here, but Pitt, although they have a split personality, is infinitely more talented than this team. Talented teams win on Monday night, especially after a textbook let down last week. Going smaller than usual because I have not paid an immense amount of attention to these teams, but teams that rush over 100YDS win the vast majority of games. Bell is going to have a big night tonight, Tenn Run D bottom 3-4 teams in the league
