for what it's worth, i think that it's good to apply a qualifier to totals in general - that is, think long and hard before you take an over with a team with a Pom Off under 95 or an under with a team with a Pom Def 106+. eliminate games where we can't count on one team's offense/defense. that was the reason that i didn't play the overs in Valpo/YSU and Akron/Toledo, let's see how that goes.Comment -

i'm glad. i actually took the game over for 1.5u at the last minute. YSU's Pom Off of 94.4 is just below my cutoff for an over, and i liked it on every other level. wish i'd played it 3* but oh well. also glad that you welcome my sharing my reasoning, that's a big reason that i like coming on SBR. you never know who might read your reasoning, and chime in with similar thoughts that may be helpful. for now, the lesson for yesterday is that 94.4 is not so bad as to automatically avoid, but 90 (Toledo) is. so, maybe i should move my over qualifier from 95 to 94....
i knew that your daughter went there, but i didn't know that it was that time frame. i'll never forget that game. we've used that play in rec league games a couple of times.Comment -

sorry i didn't respond earlier, i went to play hoops from 10 to noon. i thought that the early games were both coinflips ATS, lead over on UM/PSU.
small card. i've only looked at the 5 big conf games so far. of those, i'll say that i don't see much reason to like any of the dogs. will look at others soon.Comment -
What did you end up doing in the SB - GO PACK - but I'm scared - lol - of course I've been scared since they beat the Bears at the end of the season. Actually, I'm looking for a O/U thought. Seems like every year in the SB the 1st quarter flies bye before they settle down that being said I really like the under, but these 2 could go crazy!!!Comment -

Rick, for the FSU/UNC under, my reasoning is the two defenses. FSU is #2 in Pom Def, UNC #6. both are top tier in defense, but while UNC is above average offensively, FSU is below average. so, even though both play at a high pace normally, i think that there will be a lot of empty possessions. also, with the loss of Larry Drew II's talents, UNC's offense will be crippled. heh heh.Comment -
Ok - that's how I was leaning 45 at greek now. People tend to think of the Packers as quick strike - no run offense, but if Rogers can complete the short passes it's as good as a running game.Comment -
