That's totally insane to play Marquette against Washington, when Washington is the same level team. Yeah, if Marquette had a few more regulars in, I would bet on it blindly, but 5 guys 40 min with absolutely no substitutes these guys are gonna die

on the court.

Hah, I love the people that say Washington has superior size and athleticism compared to Marquette. Last time I checked Lazar and Pondexter are both 6'6" forwards that cancel eachother out. Then they have Bryan-Ammaning who is nothing but a crap shoot. Johnson Odom is capable of putting up a similar game that Isiah Thomas could. The only thing that is different about these two teams is that Marquette has 3 sure fire scorers in Lazar/Butler/DJO and Washington has 2 in Pondexter/Thomas. I'll take the consistent Big East Team over the inconsistent Pac10 team.

Tonights nit has to scare all u clowns that think the big east is so much better than every other conference seton hall and south fld both shit to bed tonight. Please let me save some of u money that have listened to espn too much this year,everyone has the perception that all the big east teams are "battle tested" hate when that is said, makes no sense. Just dont pick a team because of what conference they are in u gotta look at the match up, as for marquette look at their schedule only team they beat outside of the big east was xavier, lost to wisconsin, nc state, fld st all middle of the road teams in acc and big ten. only other good win they had was georgetown at home which just made up for that by throttling marquette. and marquette is far from concistent just got destroyed in their last game and they lost to depaul this year thats not real consistent.

Hah, jagmaster you picked the NIT Big East teams to compare to the tourney big east teams. They went to the NIT for a reason. All of those Marquette losses came before the Depaul loss when they just were figuring out how to play together. Remember this team is basically a bunch of JUCO's and freshmen save Hayward/Acker/Cubillian. They are 12-3 in their last 15 and have figured out to play together as a team. I attribute some of that to the "baggage" of Jerrone Maymon transfering to Tennesse during Winter Break also. Either way this team gets it and plays hard all the time.

If a couple early games go their way early in the season and we are talking about a 3/4 seed now and not a 6. The only big losses were Gtown 3 straight days of playing and Wisconsin at the Kohl Center and the Wisconsin game was single digits. I'm just saying Marquette will be ready to play.

I took wash +2 from my local. I put it in earlier this week. Only one unit but have gotten them all right so far or at least what I bet. Didnt do anything more than 2 units though but a few wins makes you feel confident.

I am very comfortable with Washington here. Coming in with a head full of momentum, and Marquette and its Big East bias will go down tonight. Marquette hasn't had a "marquee" win in over a month. Villanova sure doesn't look like one. Washington wins this.
