Well, I was on both Duke and Mich St today, so that was good. But then I have to read about totals this morning before I leave, and someone suggested Duke 1st half under was golden as was Mich St under. So of course I tailed and ended up with a mild winning day. Not complaining, just said I'll never do the totals crap again, and find myself sweating only to lose those fairly easily. Hard to go against the Biliken boys, but VCU has made me more $ this year so I'll probably be on them tomorrow. GL!Comment -

I had a mediocre week, but made up some ground today. 2H lines, I know you usually dont have the opportunity to play them, but that's where its at. I don't know if you read my post about 2H plays but the golden opportunity was there today in the UT game.
They scored lights out 1H. I had over for the game so that was looking great. 81 points I think 1H. So they make the 2H line 75. I pounded under. That would have been 20 points more than the game line. That rarely, and I mean rarely happens. So I hit the over & 2H under. Hit several teasers with UT, over, & Baylor. Lost a little on UT & under in the Duke game. They scored way more points than they should have. I played small on UT because I didn't really expect them to win, but it's good to hope I guess. But I did tease them to +2.5 with alot of stuff. I just hate they lostComment -
I wish I knew! I hate it, I get a little extra cash and it's like throwing it away when I play totals. Just terrible! I just checked the 2nd half of the Duke game. I had to meet a friend and was running late, but I stopped in a book and took Duke 2nd half. I was thinking about taking Duke 2nd half under, but decided I know sides better and stayed away. I couldn't believe it Sucker, every other time I looked at the TV RI was up 4, so I'm not sure what happened. When I saw it go to OT, I was scared that UNC would win. It seems to happen that when "I" bet, and a team is down for most of the game and takes it to OT, they somehow gain momentum and get it together. I am thankful I had the +6.Comment -

Over the past year teams that play in OT are 0-16 next outing. This year in the NCAA tourney there have been 5 OT games. The winner has went 0-5 ATS & SU the next outing. That's strong stuff. I have played UNC every game in this tourney, but they have won off pure determination & alot of luck. Luck can't go on forever. I'm not saying they don't win, I just bet on somewhat sure things, and this is far from it. VCU tonight was pretty sure in my eyes. The line should be -3.5-4 and the books are baiting you by making it so low. Then an hour before gametime they make it a pick and Pinny makes VCU a +1 dog
Classic move to get the squares to forget anything they handicapped & jump on the STL side. They did this 3 times with NFL last season.
Another good trick they do is make the worst team that no one will take in their right mind a 3 point fave in football. They should really be a 3 point or more dog but no one would take them if that was the case. The public loves a winner, and the fav is supposed to win!
